No mention of this being an era or anything of the sort, but it has only been four days since it was released? What I mean is that she is not going to want to overshadow a big project she has been working on with a single announcement. That is why she snuck in the teaser at the end; hype us up and to let us know it is coming, just to be patient. It is basically what we have been asking for: some kind of sign that she is releasing soon.

There is also the possibility, and maybe I am reaching here, that HBO does not want or is not allowing her to announce anything until a certain time has passed for this very reason. They paid big bucks for the special so they want as many eyes on it as possible. If she announces a new single right now, no one is going to watch the special to see the teaser.

Idk. If anything I think a single announcement would only help the streams of the concert atp, because if the GP finds out she's releasing soon wouldn't they want to visit her latest music venture? Not to mention all the fans who were interested have pretty much seen it already. Her strategy this years seems to be very heavy on cross promotion, so I don't see why it couldn't apply here too. I just don't see the benefit of waiting another week or two to keep posting Chromatica Ball content.

Happy 4 years to Chromatica

That Arizona sky...

Well, i'll say my opinions about some things - people don't have to agree with my opinions anyway.
- i think the "hype" we're talking about doesn't matter, the 5 second snippet isn't gonna affect the song's release in any way (singers do that all the time, some even do it MONTHS before release and still smash).

- i think it's a dumb idea for her to work on something THIS HARD (TCB FILM) just to overshadow it by an announcement of something else.

- i believe that some people will get the lead single and one day later they will start BEGGING for another single or the album or whatever, why can't we just enjoy what we have for now? At least we know that the album could be finished and it's coming "soon" as she said herself and this time it feels different knowing what she shared with us.

- don't get too sad by the countdowns being "just another day" with nothing. It's coming.

Yup. She literally included a snippet of a song that is probably already mastered and ready to go, which is already a very good sign.
