The poem kinda flew under the radar but yeah it's very clearly an attempt to connect with the fans and also the start of the new era. It has already started in my opinion.

It was kinda funny when the interviewer commented about her look "Okay Chromatica!" I thought it was kinda of awkward since the look has nothing to do with Chromatica and the awkward silence that followed kinda tells me Gaga might've thought the same thing. 

I'm not seeing any hype either, all the "gaga returns" videos I saw had less than 100 likes. It's not looking good for smashery but anything is possible with gaga

My clown theory is that she's going to show up to this one and then the NYC on June 3rd. She can then announce the single and release it on the 7th. 

She's doing this a chance at recording press for the new era (like the Sasha Velour mysterious interview that will only come out in June), tying both these things in. It's also a chance to generate hype and connect with her (disgruntled) fanbase right before an era begins. It's a great strategy rather than just going silent until the lead single announcement. 

Why would these official streaming parties be this spaced out otherwise?

Good thing about this theory is that it might get debunked in just a day nnn

Let's hope this time she can gradually build momentum as the release date approaches and not just wait until the Tuesday before to announce it and be done with it. 

With the release of the special, all the monsters are on board, even the most critical ones. She has truly won us over. I hope she does not squander this overwhelmingly positive sentiment that now permeates our fanbase.

she should just embrace the fact that her days on top (musically) are over and stop chasing commercial hits and instead focus on building her legacy with interesting and acclaimed albums

This was imo exactly the plan with this fan attended premiere event. C'mon Bobby, I give 10s when 10s are due. Now keep it up with London and NYC.

A decent commercial decline from chromatica can be expected considering how long it's been and how she's been pretty mia from the public eye. I just hope she doesn't pull the plug on the era if it underperforms, we can all agree we just want good music and content more than anything else
