'Netflix Original' used to be THE certification of quality but then they decided to cater to the lowest common denominator and pump out as much slop possible while caring exclusively about first week numbers and cancelling shows left and right. They also made insane UX decisions - removing rating, awful algorithm etc, as well as business ones - upping the price but reducing the benefits, removing account sharing etc. I understand that it's hard to make it profitable; Apple TV is still losing a billion per year for example but that's a loss leader for them and Apple being Apple can afford it, so they focus only on 'prestige' titles to have that kind of reputation. Netflix can't and trying to cater to as much people with as many titles possible was a cute plan, but their image rn is overpriced slop-central and idk how they're gonna get rid of that.

Apparently Hawaii? The island with Honolulu specifically. I went with coastal places only because duh, and sea temp above 21 which deducted a lot of options. (SoCal apparently doesn't have that warm sea? I didn't know.) I like the climate here in late spring the most, so I went with 21-28 highs, at least 8h sunshine and almost no rain.
