Oscars obvi. Tonys are very local and even in US the GP don't care about it that much. Grammys have lost a lot of prestige ngl, the only thing keeping me from putting Emmys above it without a second thought is that Emmy is another acting award and Oscar is clearly outselling in that department. On the other hand TV is becoming more and more high quality and Grammys are giving out AOTYs to MIDsongs so... Oscar >>> HUGE GAP >>>> Emmy > Grammy >>> Tony

The whole industry is in a really weird place. The switch to digital more or less just shifted the purchases online but most of the things remained the same, meanwhile now that the streaming is in full force it's a whole another world. The roll outs are different, the promo is different, the consumption is different, the charts are different... And I don't think anybody knows the 'solution' or where to go from here.

A moment. She was mad as hell after Lover's reception + the rent was due. I do think the concept of not telling her own POV helped this tremendously, her albums' lyrics took such a nosedive after F+E. There's only so much you can say about yourself, and this allowed for such fresh and unique stories. Releasing such an autumny album in the the middle of the summer was a gag too. I know it was the pandemic but still.

Pulling out the victim card and trying to spin this as 'le colonialist elites hating on the global south!!' as if 1) the rest of the global south ain't kiing too and 2) the country in question wasn't infamous for LARPing as the aforementioned elites and not wanting to do anything with the rest of the continent but somehow suddenly its 'Mi gente latino!'

The amount of pictures deleted after Photobucket, Imageshack, Tinypic or whatever they were called went offline. So many of old forums and communities are filled with dead links now, good luck searching for antyhing pre cca 2010 unless it's self-hosted and still up or got snapped by the internet archive.
