Just got back from the show in Nashville tonight & the production was definitely her most-elevated yet for any U.S. gig!!! Her pulling out those stops while independent is major!!! I'm super-super curious to see how she'll elevate everything for the arena dates across EU. She deserved a better crowd though the audience was NOT turnt enough - NY better bring it for this Pop Legend. The new tracks all sounded great live - loved the setlist overall in the fact that each project was represented. Being a diehard LW fan her doing the title track was such a treat. My Gun was a huge surprise too - the real fans geeked tf out when she played it right after Cool Girl. The lighting was especially great during Grapefruit - a phone recording doesn't do the effects justice / that's 1 to definitely absorb fully with the eyes. I'd love to see her add a song or two / bring out guests for the arena dates in EU. At first I was wishing she'd tour US after the album dropped but I think previewing / hyping the album & getting comfortable with the show on a smaller scale before playing her biggest concerts yet was a real good idea. Vocals, production, band, everything was pretty on-point as per usual - the tour's gonna be great!!!!!!!

Doechii — BEVERLY HILLS Pretty on-par with the second Amaarae track in here in terms of the feeling I get when listening (a good comment though this may fall short of my Top10 given the competition). Chxrry — Call Security I'm cracking UPPPP as I'm listening to the track I'm thinking there's some Weeknd influence / they'd sound good together & was curious if she's signed or independent — come to find out she's signed on XO / Republic hahahaaaa!!! I like her tone / feel / soundscape a lot!!! Another new artist&song discovery in here. The Weeknd — Open Hearts Screeeeaaaammmiiiinnnnggggg @ The Weeknd having a track up next. Re: The Entry — >inserts Monique's "oh she's taking it" clip< FKA twigs — Perfect Stranger This is prettynice though I prefer the earlier track she has by the top of the playlist.

St. Vincent — Broken Man LOVE this / WHAT a new discovery! tysm4sending!!! Blümchen — Rosa Walke … Amaarae, Bree Runway & Starkillers — Starkilla I miss Bree / I love that they collab'd. Sadly I'm not super-into this track, mayb I just don't 'get' it / it'll grow on me overtime. Still wanna check this album out eventually. BRONZE AVERY — HEATWAVE Very cute / would rank high in a regular-type round, but I am more keen on many previous entries at this pt in the playlist. Blood Orange — Champagne Coast Like the approach with this choice a lot, hmmmmmmm, another tough Top10-or-not-Top10 decision. Amaarae — Reckless & Sweet Feeling this1 much more atm than the other submission.

cupcakKe — Squidward Nose Screeamiiinnggg veryglad to see cupcakKe here as a mega-fan of hers. A non-sex-track pick (Image, Interruption, Ace Hardware, etc.) woulda gotten my 12pts immediately but this round is definitely about mass appeal so I get it! At least a pt from me regardless! PinkPantheress — Stars Ahhhh I didn't realize she wasn't banned pre-round missed the opportunity to submit her. Had a lovely time attending her latest show & all the mixtape tracks sounded gr888888 live, this being no exception. Laava — Wherever You Are (I Feel Love) I LOVE the nostalgia factor here. Gets washed by a couple other entries but I'm very tempted to throw a pt or two your way. Interested to see how the audience responds to this1 as well.

horsegiirL — only the best Getting hints of PinkPantheress, Lana & a couple other influences I can't put my finger on. But there's also more of a mainstream / Electro feel / a secret unique ingredient. Very pleasantly surprised by this / would love to hear a future entry in a future season. FKA twigs — HARD Another artist that I should be more familiar w their discography. LOVE this entry / feelin it lotsssss you guys are not playyyiiiiinngggg this round llllliiiiiikkkeeeee. Empress Of — Save Me Prettysolid. Would rank high for me in a regular-type round but I'm leaning towards other entries more already. ngl I'm a little relieved for stress-of-tight-ranking purposes hahaaaa.

JoJo f/ Demi Lovato — Lonely Hearts (Remix) VocalCity whewww sender here is hungry for a comeback. Was absolutely OBSESSED with the OG version when it dropped pre-GTK release. GTK was a highlight album during COVID for me. Haven't played the Remix as much but I definitely love hearing it in this playlist / pts are locked from me x Flo Milli — Bed Time The URGENCY?!?! OhWOW I haven't heard a Flo track where she spits like this!!! — ALSO givin 'hungry for a comeback' / I'm LOVING the competitiveness in this playlist now. Foxes — Forgive Yourself WHAT in the 1-2-3 punch is going ONNNNNNN this is why I LOOOOVEEEEEE the comeback rounds (& ASC in general really) whewwwwww the deliverance!!!!!!!!! jfdspoaifjenadsa can't even be mad that I might have no shot @ this pt. This is also a new track [in general] for me / lovely discovery! Lemme go listen to Body Talk rq though before resuming.

P!nk — Split Personality VERY surprised to see a P!nk submission though name-wise she's such an obvious choice for this round. If this ends up being 11th / 12th on my list I might have to inflate a pt or two just for the shock factor & the fact that her "OG music" had many unappreciated / overlooked factors for me (though this particular track is new for me). Oklou — thank you for recording Feel like this coulda gotten a point or two from me in a regular-type round but I don't foresee it makin my Top10 for this1. COBRAH — Platinum Pretty fun / I liked it. Very curious to see where this ends up ranking in the results. Lights — COME GET YOUR GIRL Was excited by the title & the track delivered / was prettynice / feeling satisfied!

Ari Lennox — New Apartment Veryyyyy groovy / I'm likin this lots. I remember lots of friends / acquaintances oncampus raving over this proj when it came out. Definitely a reminder of Ari's talent & re-motivator for me to check it out in full. AViVA — DOC MARTENS Cute-cute. Curious to see how the competition stacks / if this will end up in my Top10 or not.

kbleax — bitchunt Doesn't do anything4me, sadly. SZA — Kitchen Is there a sample in this? Something sounds familiar hmmmmm. Prettypleasant listen. Scene Queen — Hot Singles in Your Area The artist & song title definitely had me thinking the song would sound different. First half was interesting / I was prepared to be surprised but come second half I wasn't a fan of the vocal & a couple other elements of the song. Chappell Roan — Guilty Pleasure I feel like a bad musicfan for still not having listened to this album in full. I definitely hear the appeal.

She touched on it in the interview. Timbaland reached out to her through IG after watching some of her beat-making / self-producing videos + they started sending each other files back&forth. She stated they worked on 20-30tracks together & liked the idea of putting a joint mixtape out. It'll be interesting if anything additional makes the third album!

Confirmed in her Call Her Daddy interview @ the 1Hour mark. Being mixed by Chris Godbey, who mixed / engineered tracks on In Pieces & Resurrection. Loved her first two albums + the new proj she put out with Timbaland; this should be interesting! Hopefully the rollout isn't beginning too far from now!
