this. she obviously enjoys the success, sales, streams, numbers, attention and spotlight way too damn much. she just doesnt have anything new or interesting to say lyrically and sonically cause she's been talking about the same old things she's been singing about since she was a teenager. she's creatively bankrupt. maybe having a kid and being a mother will finally be the album where she can redeem herself cause right now its looking like she has no new or interesting experiences in life other than having way too much money + success and getting dicked down by the love of her life

there's no debate she IS an amazing lyricist and she's made some of the catchiest melodies in pop music history from her debut album all the way through folklore from evermore to showgirl deluxe she obviously lost the catchy melodies that used to come out of her so effortlessly and her lyricism has been so-so too. it also doesn't help that she's in her 12th album and pushing 40 - not to be misogynistic and ageist- but the albums she makes these days sound like the kind of albums she was making as a teenager especially showgirl when you're pushing 40 and your sound and lyricism feel like they haven't evolved much from your teenage years, people are naturally going to get tired. and it also doesn't help that she's literally the biggest artist in the world so the expectations surrounding her are through the roof

Beyoncé and Gaga WILL ALWAYS serve and will always be the coolest and most innovative + always doing something different millenial popstars whether yall like their outputs or not the other girlies have always been chopped and a hopeless case
