  1. Imagine actively unstanning during Fame 2012 era! No taste
  2. Nnn did you think I was talking about Beyoncé with the clapping comment I was referencing Shake It Off, you know since I said I went through hits. The only hit on CC is THE and Bey has no instrument credits. Sorry I didn't go through her whole album. Also completely random but a big nit pick of mine, Joanne the album isn't named after her aunt it's a self titled record The song Joanne is about her aunt, the album title is more encompassing of Gaga herself which she has said multiple times. How it's her middle name and the sonic scape of the record is a middle lane between her public persona and Stefani.
  3. Valid but also sometimes you don't need to rewrite the wheel especially when you're already a musician Like imagine being in the studio making Die With A Smile and Gaga just like "eh let's hire someone else to play the piano" when she's sitting right there lol
  4. Alecia Keys is such a musical GOAT
  5. Damn I didn't know she went back to the studio instruments on TTPD
  6. Love it's ok if your fav doesn't play instruments in the studio you didn't need to write a think piece / random Joanne lashing rooted in insecurity…
  7. Well… I probably shouldn't
  8. The way 2024s biggest hits are with these two multitalented artists
  9. As a Gaga stan it's pretty well known she's a classically trained pianist who is often seen producing / writing on the keyboard. A decent chunk of her studio hits have her on the keyboard (ie Paparazzi, Abracadabra, Million Reasons, Born This Way, Die With A Smile… the list goes on) so I assumed other artists who play instruments would have them too. Oddly enough I looked through the hits of other MPGs and it was nearly impossible to find any instrumental credits (besides clapping ), atleast with bigger songs. I feel like Taylor at one point used to play guitar on her songs in her country days? Now she gets a producer or hired session musician to do it. Do your favs have instrumental studio credits? If so what are their biggest / most known ones?
  10. Yes. The best part is some days I'm a secret Xtina fan who hates Gaga, the others they're liking my posts
  11. Chromatica is easily her most boring album Besides a couple of highlights it's really just lots of filler and YouTube intro beats. Not mad it's doing those numbers
  12. And yet the director praise working with her… and Tim Burton made a MV with her / praised her as well. Not much of a lashing I'd say
  13. Maybe they needed Bruno too
  14. Isn't the whole point of this thread that no director wants to touch Gaga with a 10 ft pole post Joker though? That's obviously not the case when she was contacted and worked on both Wednesday and TDWP 2. OGHs need to troll harder.
  15. What do you mean this song only has 200M streams… it deserves a resurgence even if it's a bit of a Thriller knock off The second verse @ 1:26 on is still one of my favorite productions on a pop track. That bass makes me feel things
  16. Trying to make Gaga seem like a directors worst nightmare post Joker like she wasn't just praised by Tim Burton and David Frankel…
  17. Except Gaga is an actual artist who wrote and produced the hits for the album, not some rent a singer like others
  18. Anyone who considers CTC a flop is delusional with their expectations. That album is the most successful trad pop record of the 21st century, it peaked at #1, won a Grammy, and made 1.8M units. Until another MPG does those numbers with a genre completely absent from the charts, sieth.
  19. MAYHEM a "flop" album
  20. I never used to think about it until I was talking with a friend a couple years ago and he said "I stop reaching out to make plans if I'm the only one who does it" At first I thought it was a bit weird, because why not tell people you want to spend time with them when you do. But then I realized with another friend group everyone straight up just stopped initiating, and as soon as they shut me down I decided I'd wait… and wait… until it became clear they had no interest or "time" to hang out anymore. Now it's something I think about often, whether or not I'm consistently keep friendships alive while others couldn't care less. I bring this up now because I usually make plans with a friend every weekend, but I realized they haven't initiated in a while and they'd become distant from me at work. I thought I'd hold off and low and behold they've yet to reach out. Am I thinking too much about dynamics or is this something you think about also?

Monsters planning out LG8 dates yesterday when we're really just going to get another 2022-2024 run. Gearing up for a jazz residency, delayed MAYHEM Ball film, and lots of Instagram ads. We might even get another Nurtec gate. Buckle up
