Yeah Showgirl is a better album than people want to give it credit for. Not her best but songs like Ophelia, Opalite, Wish List,... are too good to ignore.

I don't begrudge anyone for liking Showgirl and for it's worth I completely understand how annoying it is when so many people are being so… so… LOUD about disliking a piece of art you happen to enjoy, it kind of sours the experience for those that genuinely just want to enjoy a Taylor Swift album. That was basically my experience with TTPD.

That's why I think just slapping a "it's bad eww" is kinda lame and a bit of a cop-op. If you don't like it… at least explain why in a way that feels respectful and well thought out.

I'm still so disappointed that there was never an Eras Tour live album. I really wonder what happened there - maybe she and the label just decided that there was no room for it to breathe among all the other projects, or maybe Disney was weird about the audio rights since they did the tour film deal.
