When Gaga smashes she smashes in insane ways. Like poker face , die with a smile , shallow, bad romance etc have insane units and are those once in a career sized hits that Gaga just so happens to have many of. Ari's eras are more consistent but like u said Gaga's peaks are much bigger. She just tends to have a higher "miss" ratio in terms of commercial success and it's often due to Gaga not always making serviceable music unlike Aria who's work tends to mostly be very commercial (not to remove anything from Ari because a lot of her stuff is very enjoyable)

You know hunchhunties, I really kinda want her to GAG us on TS14. Like it's obvious TS13 is going to be a masterpiece and will prob draw in a lot of references to her previous sounds and stuff (hopefully a alt rock pop rock and country tinged album with lots of live instruments) but imagine after that she goes spiritual mode and does a trip hop alt synth pop album and comes back with a TOTALLY new hair cut and color (just for the era) like imagine her as a natural looking red head for an entire album era that is a little dark and spirutual and has gothic poetry all throughout it. Imagine a Mylene Farmer type of era:
