People from Brad Balford's own riding is saying how awful he was as a councilor, and folks still think he's the better option when his plans include: Eliminating even more bike only lanes. Eliminating transit priority lanes. Increase transit prices (but also make it if transit is more than 5-minutes late you don't get charged? how the f does that work/help the TTC if you strip them of funds?!) Privatizing essential city services like the water filtration plant. Reduce funding to libraries, social services, and public health to fund hiring 90 more police officers. (By reducing property taxes) Basically sell all of the Toronto Islands so Billy Bishop Airport could expand. And as usual it's the downtown vs. Etobicoke/Scarborough again as the downtown ridings are primarily in favour of Olivia Chow, and Etobicoke/Scarborough are pro-Balford. It's almost the city didn't learn it's lesson from John Tory.

The OPC is beginning their removal of Bike Lanes in Toronto starting Tuesday. What angers me is Toronto tax payer dollars paid to install them, they were well utilized, and now uneducated tyrants who know nothing about Urban Planning get a say in the affairs of Torontonians. What's even more frustrating is that the millions of dollars spent to remove these bike lanes, is going to be useless because it won't reduce congestion as all those cyclists will just ride their bikes in the middle of the road for their safety. As well when the number of traumatic accidents increase and put further stress on the healthcare system. The only people who are anti bike lanes in Toronto are those who don't live in Toronto and don't use the lanes themselves.

The issue is riding structure. Rural ridings shouldn't have equal say as urban ridings when more people live in urban areas. In Ontario Toronto's and Ottawa's voice doesn't matter because when the rest of the rural ridings (which is substantially less populated then the TMA and OMA) vote blue, there's no chance. All of downtown Toronto voted NDP, and Doug Ford being the corrupted piece of garbage who only belongs in a jail cell does everything he can to promote policies that Toronto doesn't want.
