I find it funny how some people say they hate Showgirl and then proceed to also say they love like 75% of the album

As much as i don't dislike the last 4 songs as much as critics do, i really hope she's not gonna do more songs about haters on TS13, people always seem to hate it

People need to look at numbers instead of online discourse. Showgirl may have a lot of vocal haters but the streaming numbers have been very good, which is more significant than anything else. I'm not worried at all, i'm still convinced that TS13 will be a very special album.

Tell me about it. Many Swifties have such rigid expectations about what her songs SHOULD be instead of just appreciating them for what they are. I really like all 4 songs, Pink Clouding is indeed a big bop and i'm obsessed with Babylon already.

I think one of the reasons people are so mad is because she wasn't supposed to get that big over time, she wasn't supposed to be the one overshadowing every other modern pop girlie. I still remember back in the day when people were talking about "who the new Madonna/Pop Queen" is, Taylor was NEVER included in the conversation for some reason. Even Katy f*cking Perry was more mentionned than Taylor for that Taylor has surpassed expectations without ever becoming one of those pop stars "for the gays" if you see what i mean. And they never forgave her for it. So they spend their time hating on her in a blind hope that their hate will somehow cancel her career, which of course is never gonna happen at this point. You would think people on a pop forum would KNOW how pop culture works at this point but apparently not

Taylor shade has never been funny, honestly. Her haters are the most basic people on the planet, they are not even creative with their hate. I guess that's what happen when hate is purely irrational and reactionary, it falls flat. Very Trumpian in a lot of ways.
