What would you do if you won $1 million?
I'd buy a home to live in and 2/3 apartments to rent and then live off of the rents.

Harry's KISSCO has sold 1 million in the US
Harry's House took 5 weeks to cross the 1M mark, was #3 on BB200 and he was not touring. Disco took 26 weeks to reach that, is currently #123 on BB200 and Harry is currently on tour (on a record breaking MSG residency no less). Yes, for his standard, it's at the very least a massive underperformance.

More impressive this decade? The One That Got Away (#3) vs Abracadabra (#2) Spotify
TOTGA is much bigger than Abracadabra (which was pretty frontloaded and is now kinda forgotten), no question about it. That said, it'll always be more impressive to be able to keep extending your legacy than merely relying on nostalgia. Abracadabra is gonna do so much more for Gaga's future than TOTGA ever will for Katy.

Greedier billionaire: Beyoncé or Taylor?
The fact we're genuinely in a world where people are like "oh my billionaire is not bad because she doesn't block people from #1 like yours" or "oh my billionaire is not bad because she doesn't overprice the most basic thing like yours". I love them both, but they are both awful for accumulating this much wealth, no matter how they did it.

What's better? Smashing with collab VS smashing with old song
The Gaga vs Katy trolling aside, I would say that in a vacuum, it really doesn't matter if it's a collab or solo. If anything, maybe solo, cause that's what's gonna make you the most money I guess. In the context of a career, I'd say it's better to smash with something new than something old, even if it's a collab, because that means you are still extending your legacy.

2020s: your album of the decade so far?
Well I guess the answer is the same for me

Harry's KISSCO has sold 1 million in the US
Looking at raw numbers without context is pretty useless tbh. A flop is measured comparatively to the expectations you have for an artist. 1M for Harry Styles is at the very very least a big underperformance. If Taylor did 3M for her next album, that would be lowkey a flop for her considering her entire discography is above that. Similarly, if Katy was reaching 1M, it would be a success considering her current state.

Why does Katy Perry still have the most popular solo female song on Spotify?
On Spotify* Cause if you look at the Global 200 (which looks at more than one streaming platform), it is behind: Choosin' Texas hate that I made you love me Man I Need Stupid Song Boston the cure Jolene The Fate Of Ophelia 9 to 5 Love Me Not Petal But nonetheless, she's still killing it.

Taylor Swift
Undeservingly underrated masterpiece
-
Taylor Swift
And even without talking about awards, optics of the 20th anniversary, radio or whatever... after the disappointment of the last album (even within the fanbase), she could just give us something we are begging for

Katy Perry's concert film flops, fans enjoy the empty theaters
I didn't know (or forgot, idk) that she was making a tour film. These numbers/videos are not even really embarrassing, just sad. The fact she thought she could make a tour film speaks loudly on how deluded she still is about her success and relevance. Her fanbase is nearly extinct and the GP members that enjoy her old stuff are not going to see a tour film which is almost a fan thing only.

Taylor Swift
I watched the video earlier, and several points were made.

Does your fave have a solo TIME cover?
Yes Is it just me or does it feel lowkey reductive that Madonna's only TIME cover is captioned "Why She's Hot", meanwhile we're talking about one of the most influential artist in music history?
-
We need to talk about this album more
Wait, I never heard her name but I just played crystalize from the OP and I love it. Let me go listen to the album and see what she's about.

Rolling Stone's "Introducing the Queen of Pop": where are they now?
Taylor, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Gaga would remain in 2026's list. Maybe Adele too but she is a wildcard, I guess we'll have to see how 38 performs. Shakira remains very relevant too, she has ups and downs but is never the top dog, yet the longevity speaks for itself. Then Britney is a retired legend. Pink and Katy became legacy artists. A few faces are forgotten. I wonder how it'd look if they made it today. I guess we would keep Tay, Bey, Rih, Gaga, Adele and Shakira. And then add in Ariana, Billie, Olivia, Sabrina, SZA and Dua I guess. Maybe Tate, Charli and Chappell too.
