Drake - 'Fear of Missing Out'
Is that a new album? Damn
-
Taylor Swift
What do you mean bribing? Let's threaten them! Jokes aside, I think it'll get to #1 anyway. The song is blowing up and she has yet to do that interview with iHeart Country Radio which I guess is gonna keep her momentum going (especially after she announces Debut TV).

TTPD vs petal
TTPD is easily the better album. Ariana gets the better singles though. Fortnight/ICDIWABH are in the bottom 7/8 on TTPD for me, while htimylm/petal are both in the top 3 on petal.

Taylor Swift
More than anything, she's smart enough to know she is way way way too big to control what's happening on the internet. Close those subs and they are just gonna migrate somewhere else and become even worse because they'll feel like they're being censored.

Don't know what it is about Midnights today but the album is album-ing
-
Taylor Swift
The way @Dear Reader just keeps getting better with time. Oh Midnights the wine that you are (also I was listening to a playlist the other day and a clean transition between Dear Reader and Maroon is just soooo smooth) And since we're on the topic of the 3AM edition, let's not forget the stone-cold masterpiece that we got out of it

Taylor Swift to go on country radio this Saturday
It's for IKIIKY.
-
Taylor Swift
I mean, Ophelia received better radio support on the formats it was played on unless I'm mistaken. Like IKIIKY is kinda struggling on pop radio. It's just that IKIIKY benefits from both pop AND country (+HAC and AC like Ophelia), which leads to much bigger totals. And of course Ophelia also had to deal with the other songs on the album being played during the first few weeks and then had to deal with Opalite of course, meanwhile IKIIKY has no competition from Taylor herself.

Millennial MPGs and their most-streamed songs - rank from best to worst.
Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (masterpiece) Britney Spears - Toxic (classic) Adele - Someone Like You (probably the biggest stone-cold classic on this list) Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (future classic, and carries the memories of the Eras tour for me) Rihanna - We Found Love (classic, a moment, but I'm not the biggest fan, she's got so so so many better songs) Beyoncé - Halo (classic, but I can't believe a song that isn't in Bey's top 50 is her most streamed song) Katy Perry - Dark Horse (meh, but benefits from nostalgia for me, hoping TOTGA will surpass it so she can have a much better song as her most streamed) Lady Gaga - Die with a Smile (too recent to have nostalgia bias, and not even that great to begin with, could pass DH with time) Ariana Grande - 7 rings (this was everything back then but the song aged poorly)

Taylor Swift
Also I want her to do the Superbowl as much as anyone, but ngl, I'd rather she wait until the public opinion gets back in her favors. I really don't want this huge milestone to be ruined by the braindead rot that is constantly on her ass day in day out. She also doesn't need it yet tbh. Maybe by 2030 or something.

Taylor Swift
I refuse. You are wrong. This is sacrilegious to say.

Taylor Swift
I still don't understand why this song was kept away from Red in favor of a Stay Stay Stay for example, but even less why it seems nobody ever talks about it. It's such a beautiful sad bop.
