  1. also i wouldn't say ttpd was chasing trends/numbers? i mean, chart-wise? absolutely, but those are business tactics to boost sales, it's not the same as saying the album was constructed and meant to have hits and be commercial. ttpd sound or lyrical content weren't made for tiktok virality, it was raw and honest, and it didn't even paint her in a good or flattering light. if anything ttpd IS a risk but people are not ready to hear that
