When you are as famous as Taylor, you become a lighting rod for all social criticism. Climate change, inequality, racism, election results, tradwife culture, capitalism etc. have all been things people tried to blame her for - and the "other side" has too made her a symbol for their "problems" such as feminism and the broad concept of "wokeness". It's reminds me of when Marilyn Monroe was made a scapegoat for all sorts of social "issues", from the spread of communism to the decline of the traditional family structure. Only in hindsight is it ridiculous.
