Again, the ICE contractor was not known for that and only became one after the invitations and background checks likely happened. Karlie and her husbond are both open Democrats despite the family ties. Yes, I genuinely do think that is different from actually attending Ivanka Trump's event.

The left denouncing anyone who is even tangentially related to someone who is MAGA (even unknowingly, as it's likely in this case) is a mistake for the progressive movement. There's a reason why the smartest and best Democratic politician since forever, Mamdami, isn't caught up in purity testing and is even supportive of Taylor.

See, I gave some actual arguments as to why I believe it's possible and likely they didn't know, admittedly speculation on my part. Nobody has responded to any of my points beyond the usual "swiftie!1!!1" Then you come here and say this as if it's categorically true, as if it's undisputed facts. It is not, it is also just speculation. I just can't respect any of you when you won't even participate in the actual discussion. Here are some facts that I want you to listen to and some questions that could be interesting to discuss: The contract happened on March 13th 2026. Do you find it likely the the invitations were sent out before that? (Imo yes). Is it likely that Taylor and Travis screened the guest list once before sending out invitations? (Imo yes) Should they have done it a second time before the wedding to weed out anyone who became problematic in the meantime (imo sure, but who expects that?) Would the invitation be a moral failing even if they had no idea? (Imo yes, actually. But quite a different thing than if they did).

I would in fact not support Taylor and would drag her instead if it came out that she knowingly invited an ICE executive — but I will give her the benefit of the doubt and believe they just didn't know. The contract between Amentum and the ICE facility happened on March 13. this year. The wedding invitations and the preceding screening of the guest list would've most likely happened before that. They ofc could've done another screening before the wedding, but who expects someone to suddenly become an ICE contractor? I just find it entirely possible that they found out about the contract at the same time that we all did, when it blew up after the wedding.
