And it's not questioned anymore whether they take part in writing their own music, contrary to what Taylor had to deal with. They can thank her for that too!
  14. Troye never misses aesthetically or at creating a certain vibe. I actually like the music a lot, the production is incredible and the melody makes the whole thing sound sincere. There's something about gay men idealizing a certain archetype of woman and wanting them to "serve *****" and be messy for their entertainment though that's always felt a bit strange to me… And this song is sort of the essence of that. Like, only a gay man would glorify "a cum stain on her dress" It's like the inverse of a straight woman shouting "yass queen" at every gay man they come across. Which is not to say that it's wrong or that I don't love people like that, it's just not my business how girls act and look, I guess?
  15. Trump has been obsessed with Taylor from the moment he first heard Blank Space and has harrassed her constantly since she went against Marsha Blackburn.

Taylor being inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in her first year of being elligible is a no-brainer. She is without a doubt the most famous and accomplished person to ever come out of Nashville. Who else has exported the Nashville songwriting tradition to every corner of the planet and introduced country music to a whole new generation? Even mainstream pop music has now been transformed by her incorporating the Nashville tradition into her pop sound. As Hillary Duff put it: "I don't think the intent back then was sophisticated songwriting. There was no Taylor Swift yet — it's like before Christ and after Christ".
  17. "snark subs" (and certain sections of Tiktok) are just the modern equivalent of TMZ and tabloids. The people spending their time on it are just deranged.
  18. Or maybe a lot of songwriters are just impressed by her songwriting? Is it beyond your comprehension that others have opinions that differ from yours?
  19. If only six living songwriters have a higher number than 16%, then 16% is not a small number. It's really not that complicated.
  20. Now imagine if 1989 was on Spotify for its first 3 years
