Ariana to take break from public after tour, drops out of 'Sunday in the Park'
I think this is a good thing.

Sensitive: Ariana and Karen Carpenter Comparisons
Theres nothing we can do about it. And for the most part… people with EDs ENJOY it when you point out how thin/frail/poorly they look. It's basically affirmation! It's twisted but the only people can provide the help are those who are closest to her.

Xtina rumored to receive Video Vanguard Award
God the VMA's are really going to be dead and gone within the next decade. I mean… I'm not suggesting Christina hasn't made an impact on pop culture but her career as a big name pop-star has been dormant for sixteen years at this point… and her videography really isn't anything special. Don't come for me fighters - I actually purchased Bionic and Lotus!

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
I'd say this is definitely in my top 3 from her… but it lacks a "wow" moment, at least on first listen… there's no Ghostin, Love Me Harder, Into You or We Can't Be Friends here, but that's okay… not every Ari album needs one. I'll say this (like Eternal Sunshine) it's an extremely consistent record… there's no bad song but a few minor criticisms: I was growing a little tired by the time Warning Signs came on… my gut feeling was everything was a touch one-dimensional in terms of sound. I cannot believe I'm saying this given this is Max/Ilya but the vocal mixing on some of these tracks is a bit strange… I think the worst casualty of this is definitely Kiss Me, a song that I really, really like, but definitely could have loved if the vocal was clearer. On a whole, my favourites are Kiss Me, Petal, Stay, Oh Well, Bad Thing (Bunny Hop) and Nobody Nowhere. She was REALLY in her Imogen Heap bag with the closing track. On a whole: 8/10

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
It's mad how different everyone's album rankings are. Damn I'm aware Dangerous Woman has flaws but it's basically My Everything done right… it jumps around a lot in terms of sound but it contains some of her very, very best pop songs - Into You, Touch It, Dangerous Woman, Thinking Bout U, Be Alright, Greedy… whew, she was cooking.

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead Dangerous Woman Thank U Next Sweetener My Everything Positions Yours Truly Eternal Sunshine is such a masterpiece so I can't really see her topping it… but here's hoping I'm wrong.

Carly Rae Jepsen - "Don't Leave Me On The Dance Floor"
This sounds excellent. The Night side of the album is going to destroy me…

HDD posts about Miley working with Dr. Luke, then edits article
143 should have torpedoed any chance of Luke getting his foot back into the pop game so this is either untrue or Miley (and Miley's team) are complete and utter idiots.

Does Taylor have a better song than The Cure?
Honestly Gaga haters really can't stop but bring her up even when a thread has nothing to with her… Anyways. I'm the first to fend Olivia off from blood-thirsty Swifties that want to see her fall off a pedestal but for me The Cure is just okay … I like the concept but I don't think it's anywhere near her best song - You Seem Pretty Sad… has much better offerings (at least for me) And love her or hate her - Taylor's catalog is extremely strong. The Cure would have a hard time going up against most of Folklore, Evermore and even TTPD (yes I'm being serious).

Carly Rae Jepsen - "After All"
I think my baseline for classic Carly is very firmly Emotion and Emotion Side B… call me a basic gay if you want to but I like big theatrical choruses and sharp crisp synths… neither of these songs really scratch that itch for me personally. I'm still excited for the album and I think she'll deliver the kind of sound I'm hoping for on the night side of the record.

Katy = 37 days in Spotify Global Top 10 solo, Gaga = 27 days this decade. Surprised?
I actually can't. Abracadabra - a song that came out in February 2025 is sitting at *checks notes*… 827million streams verses Harley's in Hawaii's 840million (which had a cute moment on TikTok - good for Kathryn) which came out over SEVEN YEARS AGO. Let's see which one hits a billion first. I know where I'd put my money. This nonsense aside - pulling numbers from their most recent albums is a much better barometer for cultural and commercial relevance but KatyCats simply won't do that because her numbers are so embarrassing.

Katy = 37 days in Spotify Global Top 10 solo, Gaga = 27 days this decade. Surprised?
I cannot. Imagine thinking Harley's in f*cking Hawaii… a song which failed to go top ten in ANY single major music market and charted at a very impressive 110 in the states is a bigger song than Abracadabra. Actual madness.

Katy = 37 days in Spotify Global Top 10 solo, Gaga = 27 days this decade. Surprised?
I'm glad Kathryn is getting a moment with a 16 year old song that was already a hit back in 2011. The KatyCats have been through enough so perhaps you girls needed this. Truly, I hope she's able to keep milking the Teenage Dream glory years for as long as she's able to because the new material clearly isn't clicking. Actually the new material hasn't been clicking for almost a decade

This is so f*cking embarrassing. Literally - anyone with a functioning frontal lobe would never dare say Katy is a more successful artist than Lady Gaga in the year 2026.

The Dua Lipa Discography Rate | Reveal Happening Now
Yeah I think I gave Levitating a 10 and the DaBaby remix like a 7 or something…
