Wish list for ts13:

- 13 tracks + one deluxe edition (max 7 songs), but not a few hours after the album, but after a few days/weeks or months.

- No diss tracks, we've had enough of those and I don't want any more.

- 2 pre-album singles, the third single will emerge on its own when the album is released (a tea of August/Exile/Opalite).

- Release more music videos with strong narratives.

- Diversify producers: it's fine to have Aaron, Jack, or Max, but also bring in new producers.

- Don't throw away the glitter pen, just change the tip: she can use whimsical metaphors or irony, but it must be sharp, intelligent, and truly impactful. Maximum 2 songs with glitter pen

- Vocal production must be less refined and sparse, abandoning excessive reverb and returning to the use of the voice she had in the studio in 2013/2014. With her improved vocal technique of 2026, this will be an excellent service.

- More space for the instruments: we want to hear those percussions, drums, guitars, and piano clearly and vividly.

- Possibly no collaborations because we've had many and I appreciate the idea of a solo album.

Y'all in here talking about edited versions of the TTPD track list when my organizing project from yesterday has spiraled into having a single unified "Taylor Swift Sessions" album of mixtape outtakes that's over a hundred tracks

This is probably the most important one to me. IKI,IKY could really use some breathing space for the instrumentals to shine. She doesn't have to fill in every second with lyrics. This is imo quite present on both TTPD and Showgirl.

It's become impossible to talk about art and music these days: I made a thread comparing some of the greatest songwriters of all time avoiding mentioning Taylor and her peers because I hoped to keep the discussion serious but OTH have already gotten to mentioning her for no reason despite not mentioning her name

I'm starting to think that if I had a different username and a different profile picture, maybe people wouldn't accuse me of every little thing. It's so annoying because their hatred of Taylor and the people who follow her is absurd and crazy. I've never dragged anyone here. I still praise Sabrina, Gaga, Beyoncé, Olivia, and even certain things by Billie and Charli, so someone can appreciate good music and temporarily eliminate the fights between fandoms. But if you're a Taylor Swift fan, that doesn't apply in fact, you're automatically insulted and delegitimized.

i wouldn't go that far, you couldn't move for people going on about how she was the mcdonalds of pop and surely wasn't she flopping now during checks notes the TTPD era. idk if it's getting worse or not but ATRL's worst feature has always been its tedious, puerile shadiness and taylor always gets it in the neck

Guys, I've been loving Taylor's imperial phase so much.

What fascinates me is how aware she seems of it. For some artists, a popularity peak arrives like a fever dream. It happens so fast that by the time they realize what's going on, it's already over, and once it's over, they start imagining everything they could have done differently

With Taylor, it feels different. She's riding her popularity wave with so much consciousness and intention. It's like she's lucid dreaming. Most artists go through their peak half asleep, carried by the moment. Taylor seems fully awake inside hers, understanding exactly where she is and making the most of every second of it.

It's like when you suddenly realize you're lucid dreaming and can start flying, exploring, and doing whatever you want because you're aware of what's happening around you.
