i think they're too late for that really, these things are usually release week? i think they're just done to get free promo out of overenthusiastic stans tbh, it's nice that some people get a sneak preview but i don't think you can actually get the measure of anything by listening to it once in a crowded room

yeah a thing i remember thinking about the last tour that it was a bit like she was trying too hard to pull as much choreo in as possible? i'd get the sense in some songs that it was supposed to be the main attraction - like it was a reaction to criticism about not having done enough before (she's always swung back and forth) - and she was almost becoming her own back up dancer rather than it feeling like a tate performance definitely agree that the show as a whole feels a lot more elegant now too, and just the fact that she's singing so much really elevates her onstage presence? like she has so much starpower and it was threatening to get lost, it's great to see how natural it feels to see her owning the headline slot in front of that massive crowd. she does feel a bit less involved than she has at times in her best one-off performances but i think this is definitely the best balance i've seen over a full show

surprised to find out that the training season revival is real, i thought it was just something ATRL made up for fun

finally watched about half of the lollapolooza show (missed it when it got took down the first time but a kind friend has brought it up for me), will watch the rest tomorrow. obvs its great but the thing that struck me is that her choreo has really improved from the last show i saw on video? (liverpool radio 1 show last year) it's less busy now and she feels much more centred in it all, she hits the middle ground between putting on a show and commanding the stage much better. and am i screaming along to siren sounds with the 16 y/o girls? yes yes that's me

here for it all, mariah's voice may have gone a bit but she's still writing good songs at least

re sound quality, absolutely agree, if you want something that sounds better than streaming then buy a cd and a reasonably good stereo. they are fun tho, they have a different vibe to listening to them as long as you have an ok turntable and you get the nice big artwork too, there's something really satisfying to having a vinyl record that you don't get with other media. they aren't worth paying £30+ for everytime, i don't need to buy 6 copies of the same album but they're nice for a treat
