Listening to Dark Blue Tennessee and I am quacking at how beautiful it is It's one of those examples of a perfect song where melody carries it more so than lyrics. It is pretty simple but the way it is sung and the way the melody sounds so melancholic and soft is really stunning. It showcases a side of Taylor's artistry that her pen game has sort of hidden lately lol. We are all so obsessed with her writing that sometimes I think we look past the melodies aspect of certain songs and because she gets most of her praise (and hate lately) surrounding her writing I think it has created a feedback loop where she herself is focusing on jamming as much as she can into a song because it worked so well for her on tons of tracks (especially the bridges) but sometimes I miss these softer simpler lyrical songs where the melody and her vocal performance are really what lead the track. I hope she releases it for Debut TV....it needs to have it's moment with her mature vocals...can you imagine? It might sound even more potent, meaningful and tragic hearing her singing it at her current age.

I actually think the Madison Square Garden wedding rumors make a lot of sense I could imagine the actual ceremony happening somewhere else, maybe at the beach house? And then a massive party the next day in her favorite city with full security, a long guest list, no paparazzi and lots of decor. That way she'll choose both the rose garden and Madison Square

A small stage would even make sense to me given how many of her close friends are musicians.

20 years of blondie I would only become a stan two years later, but a legend was born that day. She changed my life through her music for so much time - I can't even imagine many happy moments without her music. I was listening to speak now/red in car rides to school with my mom and now me and my boyfriend for ten years have Lover as our future wedding song.

Just timeless emotion through music.
