I don't know either of those people because dominating in the infancy of your art form is not comparable to dominating past its prime. As an industry is still building its foundations, just as Hollywood was in the silent era, records will be broken at a much more frequent rate than they will be once the industry is more stable.

Real life events still exist. If the artist in question is able to translate their virtual success to tangible success in our reality (tours/concerts/live shows/etc), then it's safe to assume "bots" or "fraudulence" are not the dominant factor in their success.

Legends are tales that are passed down through time, spanning across generations. A successful artist is one whose legacy has lived on in history beyond their lifespan. In this scenario yes, being the best selling artist enters you into the history books by default keeping your legacy alive even long after you are gone. Any criticism or consumption comes secondary to that.

Im sorry but this is impossible, if you go for Enchanted you leave out Dear John, Last Kiss, & Long Live. If you go for Love Story you leave off Fearless, You Belong With Me. If you go for August you miss cardigan, cowboy like me, ivy, tolerate it. You choose Style and lose Blank Space. Like there's just no world where her catalogue can be properly represented in 12 songs I could whittle it down to 30 at best.
