  1. Someone says this every year, and the answer is usually just that what is exciting to pop culture is probably no longer exciting to you. KATSEYE is terrible and I have no interest in them, but they're clearly an exciting "moment" this year even if it's constrained to a specific age demographic.
  2. Fox News is the only platform that won't collapse under her weight I guess
  3. I really like Orbit; it feels like Space Boots but from a more mature and stable perspective and I love Space Bootz so it's nice to have this
  4. Thank you besties Taylor could announce the next tour at any moment next year so I need to start stacking the coins
  5. I just got a job offer from a software company I used to work for, I get to work remote-from-home starting the first week of October. Coincidentally, also my birthday. Now all I need is our Mother to release Debut TV that month and it'll be a perfect October for me
  6. No shade, what surprises me is that is lasted as long as it did
  7. Taylor could literally be holding radio hosts at gun point herself and I still would not gaf, yall put way too much importance into charts. Yall care more than the fans do If you KNOW Olivia's music is more "consumed" then be satisfied with that knowledge and go on about your day! Have faith that Taylor's imminent downfall is here and Olivia will rise as the new supreme titan of the music industry. Take solace in the fact that she will one day topple the records of Madonna, MJ, The Beatles, and Taylor Swift herself.
  8. You're right it isn't serious, it's pop music and yet Eli tried to make it serious when she expected Taylor to bear the weight of capitalistic, societal sin. You can't make a pop star the face of corruption and then be upset that you're met with opposition. Taylor is not the guilty party here, industry executives and tech bros are. Eli is being met with scrutiny because she scrutinized someone that isn't the actual problem. And "don't start a war you can't win" is just an idiom. No one thinks this is warfare. It's an easier way to get the message across. Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Don't throw stones then hide your hands. Don't poke the bear. All of those idioms apply here with the core message being Eli shouldn't incite conflict or provoke dissent with someone that has never wronged her or society at large.
  9. Hell no, no one was attacking Eli until she tried to demonize Taylor You don't get to throw stones then hide your hands and play the victim when YOU instigated the conflict I do agree the deranged fans in stan culture go way, WAY too far in their defense of pop stars. But I'm not going to sit here and act like Eli is being bullied for no reason when she is the one that opened Pandora's box. Don't start a war you can't win.
  10. "Keeps getting opportunities" and it's literally just one 11:30 AM performance slot from Taylor's biggest oppositional force in the industry rn welcoming another anti. No one else is going to take the chance on Eli if she keeps unraveling herself like this, those opportunities are going to dry up. The only other "opportunity" she got this year was the Girl's Crush remix and (1) Zara is still building her own platform so it's not like Eli was ever going to succeed off the back of that and (2) her anti Taylor tirades happened immediately upon its release, since then the only noteworthy opportunity she's been offered has been Daisy Chain. I'll be surprised if she's still got a career in the industry even 2 years from now. I've got no dog in this fight though, hopefully she logs off social media and focuses on the art of it all.
  11. Transphobia is never justified whatsoever, but her saying Taylor slept her way to the top is not an innocent comment.
  12. Any sympathy I would've had for her went out the window when she claimed Taylor slept her way to the top. Taylor's ascent as a teenager in Nashville is very publicly documented, so that accusation is not only blatantly untrue, but it is violently misogynistic and predatory rhetoric.
