the songs that are still slight holdouts for me are stay, freak and (to a lesser extent) oh well, all of them have these weird choruses that seem to step back rather than lean in (a very un-max way of doing things) but quite a few songs already have been a matter of just waiting til i hear it in the right way, i suspect i'll have a break from this at some point and then they'll click properly eg can't believe i ever thought HTIMYLM was at all a bit mid, ariana the gloom anthem queen that you are!
