What were Rihanna's smash/classic albums?
for all the talk of filler on rihanna albums a lot of them are pretty solid just because she's singing on them, like there are songs on TTT which would objectively be trash in anyone else's hands but she makes them good, it's a lot more listenable than it should be OT: GGGB, loud, ANTI. loud is the weakest of the three but it's still mainly end to end bops, GGGB and ANTI are both really strong in different ways

Sabrina dragged for pedophilic lyrics; goes viral
i don't even know if this is the same as britney, where there were at least obvs ways in which her sexuality was exploited while she was very young. like who is this woman, "technically legal" lmfao sabrina is 27 years old, spends most of her time in sexy clothes and sings lots of songs about sex, some deranged people on the internet can try and drag the idea of her being like a child into this but they're saying a lot more about themselves than her

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
increasing excited for this, can't stop playing ss26 and wink wink which honestly feel very fun and listenable to me whilst obvs not being the kind of thing yr going to hear much on a hit record these days. definitely has the vibes of those career wrecking albums that big artists used to do in the 70s - tusk, berlin, tonight's the night etc - that you don't see so much now and i think she sees it in that vein too idk if i'm reading too much into the title of magic metal montana but with her talking about lou reed i wonder if it's an oblique reference to metal machine music, his album where he recorded 4 sides of white noise to get out of a label deal (i'm sure it doesn't sound like that tho)
- Could Taylor Swift have made "Friend of Mine" go #1?
- Enough time has passed. Is Blurred Lines actually a great song?

UK Midweek: Rein Me In #1x17, 3 Lions #2, Shakira #5; Albums: Rolling Stones #1
it'll probably rise again with the semi final, if england win that then it could easily go #1

Gracie Abrams - 'Daughter from Hell'
also, they really don't like her at the guardian, they ran that live review by shaad d'souza where he started laying into her fans and got weirdly personal

Gracie Abrams - 'Daughter from Hell'
snapes is just as bad, whenever i see her i just remember the time when she was asked what her 5 favourite albums were and four were by the national, i will take no whining from her about anything lmao
