A couple of the Fearless tracks (You All Over Me, That's When) and Better Man have demos or work tapes that have actually leaked, and those videos use those demos - but not exclusively, the real Better Man demo for instance doesn't start the same as the TV like their video does, that's a fan mix. From what I understand, the rest including all their Speak Now ones are entirely faked.

I think that it's at least in part that chronic haters are joyless wretches with no whimsy or sense of humor who are taking out all their frustrations on the biggest and easiest target - a thing tons of people like and a person they don't know and will never meet.

Like imagine fuming on the internet because a 36 year old "is still singing about high school!!!" (the latest example being… reflecting on the consequences of your career taking you away from your old friends and missing their lives and in this case even their passing away). And don't even get me started on the disgusting weirdos who round her age up or say she's "pushing 40" as some kind of attempt at a drag, like that's not a hundred times more childish than any lyric she's ever written.
