I want to congratulate you on finding a subject that would have everyone, from Swifties to OTH, agree on.

Glad this is not a poll and just a statement because this is the answer

It doesn't even the qualifier of a track number, it is simply her worst song, period

Only correct answer. The weird thing about it is it has elements I relate to and on paper I should like it but I don't. Ruin The Friendship actually would be a better Track 5 from the album IMO

RTF would've been her best track 5

This song is so… When she announced the album, she talked on the podcast about taking care of her parents as they age and making that shift from being cared for to being the caregiver and that's what I thought the song was going to be about. (The way this could have been one of her best songs).

Imagine my horror when I heard… whatever this is.

it's one thing that the song is bad. But the fact that she was so sure and willing to stand by it that she made it a track 5, as if it's a worthy candidate for being the emotional center of the album?? deadbanana2 the artistic implications are deeply concerning

Some of the worst lyrics ever written by a pop girl deadbanana2

But I'm not a bad *****

And this isn't savage

But I'm never gonna let you down

I'm never gonna let you out

So many traitors… smooth operators

Definitely. But honestly, I don't find that song quite as disgusting as I once did. It's still a bland nothing of a song but at least I've started to see why she wrote it. Like, I think it's very genuine, so at least there's that.
