The only way to get an artist to show as "recently played" is to play a song in their top popular tracks. What is this bull—? Also annoying me: if I like 37 songs by an artist, it shows on their profile as "you liked 37 songs." But if I like 37 songs and 2 albums by an artist, it just shows "you liked 2 releases." **** that. Show me how many ****ing songs I liked.

I think that musically it's not really country and moreso the "pop star's ironic campy parody of country" that we've heard from Taylor (ie: I Can Fix Him), Beyoncé, Lana, etc. But lyrically it has a lot of country tropes, some of which are played straight and others of which she uses as a vehicle for personal autobiographical storytelling.
