  1. the release of Cry changed lives. Mine among them!
  2. sis, even the most rudimentary google search will show that this is demonstrably not true yes the straights battle with substance abuse, but the statistics for the gays really put them to shame. I had an entire class dedicated to this topic in graduate school and the stats for queer people are grim
  3. I once hooked up with a guy who mentioned he did this once. He was open enough to let me ask questions about his experience, and it seemed like he was told by the guy he was with that meth really heightens the sexual experience and that was all it took for him to agree to doing it. His thought process was shockingly rash. He ended up having a pretty horrible experience with the comedown and that exchange I had with him has always stuck with me because it really highlights just how reckless some people can be. I think he was, at the time, somewhat fresh out the closet and naive and just didn't know any better. Really unfortunate
  4. Generative AI in creative endeavors (visual art, music, etc.) will always be a "no" for me.
  5. not even the best song on the album. the demo version of Aura >>>>>>
  6. love a good buzzcut
  7. wait, they were sending this to theaters???
  8. Like animals more than people? Sometimes. Value animals more than people? Absolutely not. If the house is on fire and I can only save a dog or a human, I'm picking the human every time, even if I find the person detestable in some fashion
  9. isn't this just a product of being still in the top 10 of pop and country radio with decent overall streams? what's fraudulent about that if the point is that radio can artificially prop up a song on the charts, then sure, I guess, but that's a conversation that long predates this song
  10. that title has been hers for ages. she could have released something absolutely atrocious and nothing would have changed
  11. No. Though I think it will be a while before AI is able to legally and logistically take ownership over all of my duties (I work in healthcare), so my current plan is to hopefully invest enough money that I can just retire early when it finally happens
  12. Even if Taylor's fandom alone was responsible for that large of a difference in search interest (it wasn't), it still proves the point regarding which one had more interest and was thus "bigger" But the question overall is predicate on something nonsensical. Who gives a **** who had a bigger wedding
  13. Yes, I've done this. Not strictly because of the dating pool, but more so because my existing part of the country felt a bit suffocating and I wanted to try my hand at big-city life. The expansive dating opportunities were just a nice bonus. Without a doubt it's been one of the best decisions for my personal life that I've ever made
