He ended up having a pretty horrible experience with the comedown and that exchange I had with him has always stuck with me because it really highlights just how reckless some people can be. Yes, I've done this. Not strictly because of the dating pool, but more so because my existing part of the country felt a bit suffocating and I wanted to try my hand at big-city life.
