Carly Rae Jepsen - "Motivation"
A cool song, makes me more and more interested to hear all that this album holds. Good to hear that the weirder elements of the Day side will also be present on the Night side of the album.

Agnes Obel - 'The Meaning of Flowers'
I've enjoyed all her albums immensely, been waiting for a new one for years and autumn feels like the perfect time for this.

You can only learn ONE of these 7 cosmic truths. What do you choose?
Honestly I would probably go for the cold cases. The rest are either way too big or too meaningless for me personally. All of them would be cool to know but most of them have a high probability of being very boring or way beyond any comprehension. Like what happens after death or what existed before the big bang. Chances are the answer would just be some fancy iteration of the concept of nothingess. The cold cases being solved could actually change many lives and bring justice to those who deserve it. In the grand scheme of things it is rather insignificant but still feels more tangible and practically rewarding than the rest.
- Selena's Rare is a skipless and underrated pop bible

Carly Rae Jepsen - "Don't Leave Me on the Dance Floor"
Well it's just fantastic. Sure, this isn't her first disco track but the melodies are sweeter than ever so it doesn't feel like retreading old ground.

It already sounded like a song for the ages from the first clip how can it get even better I need this song within the next 5-10 business days please. My well-being depends on it.

Ariana Grande — petal review thread | Metacritic: 67 (+1) | AOTY: 64 | Pitchfork 6.5
I mean, I've never really found her music all that interesting before so this is pretty much the first time I've actually been intrigued by her in any capacity. Sure I've enjoyed some of her music every now and then but it hasn't gone any deeper than that. This time I feel like there's something there for me to find. Is that really such an odd opinion to have?

...she makes her most interesting album so far and people start dragging? Okay I guess

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Freak is incredible, also really enjoy like i do and the title track (the video is amazing).

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
I don't think I've ever been as interested to hear an Ariana album as I am with this one. Both petal and like i do sound kinda fresh for her, the freak instrumental snippet sounds like it could very well be my SOTY and overall I'm just getting good vibes from it. Now whether I'm gonna end up liking it or not, I'm just happy to see how deeply she is involved in her music nowadays. Like yeah, maybe the lyrics aren't always the most eloquent but they come from her. That already makes them worth my time.

Miley Cyrus teases new album
Walk of Fame, Reborn, Every Girl You've Ever Loved, End of the World, Easy Lover... all proper bangers.

Miley Cyrus teases new album
My only hope is that the songs are allowed as much time to breathe as on Something Beautiful, like if all the tracks on that album were condensed down to 3 minutes it would have ruined the album. So I'm really hoping for some more 5-6 minute bangers.

Where is Miley?
Thanks so much! Hopefully we eventually get to hear those discarded tracks in some form as well but the new stuff sounds fantastic as well.
