I also saw this as the final nail in the coffin of Miley being remembered as an important artist vs a capable entertainer. Her run from Plastic Hearts till Something Beautiful was setting her up as a CRJ or Lorde lvl (household name with a huge commercial peak, hype tapers down to a dependably loyal cult following) pop act. This 1 song undoes 5+ years of rebranding. Successful artists make it appear like their music is just a natural extension of themselves. This song is such a forceful bid at trying to make people remember a time that the public cared about Miley that it produces the opposite effect. The lady doth protest too much. And just like that, years of her going under the radar suddenly seem like she was just an irrelevant flop vs down to earth & unconcerned with fame whoring. I actually despise this song so bad

It's an abomination & anybody with an ear for music could hear that from the 1st listen

I honestly think Bad Day being the elimination theme song for American Idol turned it into the punchline of a joke for people.

Not too much on 360 (he's not even a producer, he was 1 of half a dozen writers). His other work is absolutely dismal, though, with Prima being the worst of a bad bunch. Dylan Brady's influence is nowhere to be found on here, everything sounds so sterile & generic. Hitachi & Therapy make TLOAS sound like Leonard Cohen. I am the biggest Julia Michaels stan & I am actually in shock at how much I despised this album. Even Count Baldor couldn't save that **** & he's made bangers with GFOTY!!! I have to blame Blake

This! Her name should've changed on DSPs with the release of the single. She essentially announced a change that never came. I'm honestly cringing

Oh Miley... everybody who heard this early and said it was a hit set us up. This is terrible! The worst lead of her career. Mistakes being incessant & repetitive for being catchy. Sounds so dated. Wow. I'm in shock. She is so much better than this. The last 2 albums had so many phenomenal dance tracks. What went wrong? Who produced this album?! She had incredible chemistry with Sean E & this doesn't sound like his stuff at all

People love to point at bad behaviour within our community & say we're responsible for our image problem: Milo is a rare example of somebody who has actually done everything in his power to promote harmful ideas of gay people. They should just catapult him into the ocean & call it a day

This low-key pmo. He's not ambitious (his output is infrequent & his albums are always short), he's not a gifted dancer, he needs Leland to cowrite all of his songs, he doesn't have a unique style or POV. If he truly thinks his voice isn't **** then why on EARTH is he still trying it? I think he's had flashes of brilliance but his biggest issue is clearly his lack of confidence. He thinks he has nothing special to share with the world and that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Popstars shouldn't be self-aware & humble, they should be delusional & hungry!

I only remember Jordan as the opening act on the High School Musical Tour & she was so corny. Miley was spilling with the advice!
