Minibar has some hit potential. TBH her performance on Fallon sounded leagues better than the album version, it was so much more lively. I loved What If It's Right? but this album rly suffers from Aaron delivering some of his most muted & restrained arrangements to date in tandem with these songs being quite subtle & delicate. It's just too low energy to capture your attention if you're not already deeply invested in her work

Yet another stylistic pivot after tanking. They were giving away free tickets en masse in my city when he was here recently. I don't see him ever really recovering & returning to the heights of popularity he was at circa 2019

Some news that's lowkey exciting! Listening event had alt videos for all of the singles, even WW, so I lowkey suspected the Camera we saw was not the "real" video. The Sun just put out an article about the video describing a scene from it that was not shown. I think this next video may be a real treat!

This rebrand isn't clicking for me, at all. It feels they're 1 of the many artists formerly in the hyperpop space that got an ick towards the scene post-brat & are deliberately trying to be deemed alternative or counter cultural. Idgi. With I'm You with Nina being a big song, why move away from the 1 audience that gaf about you? And an "indie sleaze" pivot is a huge mistake. It's not a sustainable market because it's not an organic trend. It's a bs online fad & IG larp & it's already oversaturated with more supply than there is demand. I wish them the best, though. There may be better tracks on here but the new style & songs don't make me optimistic, sorry. The last EP outsold. Eighteen stomps the new stuff

On my 1st listen & I have to say the title track is the worst song she has ever put, out by a mile. So painfully infantile & immature. How're you 26 years old sketching a Hallmark card version of mommy as some flawless, infallible deity? She was a daughter from hell too, I'm sure. Either capture it honestly & truly or don't write about the subject at all. Aaron absolutely **** the bed on the production, too. Crap in every fathomable way

I co signed on an apt with my best friend & he went negligent on his share of the rent & that ****** up my credit score. I since got 1 of those "protected" credit cards (you put a deposit down so they know you won't go ghost) to repair it. I recently got a big limit increase & my score is going up. My boyfriend has an Amex Cobalt (& a great credit score) tho & I have his card on my Apple Pay. The cash back perks are amazing. Only times I use my card are purely to boost my score bc, sadly, you need a good credit rating in this world to make certain things happen. No credit is actually worse than bad credit!

There is a femmephobia problem within the gay community but Frankie G has always been an extremely vapid person who is thirsty for attention. Idt it's fair to hate on the basis that he's femme but he is obnoxious the same way I'd describe many straight men as annoying when they are just incessant without a crumb of self awareness. How're you a pop star with no fans? Ariana's fans don't count. He wants an outpour of love for no reason other than he shouldn't receive hate, it's a bit of an oversimplification
