  1. I haven't been since before the lockdowns & while I wouldn't return now (monogamy), I'm glad I did it as a bucket list experience. Lotta ignorant comments here. Ppl saying "why not just use apps" - have you never met up with somebody you chatted with on an app & they technically look like their pics but not how you imagined it & the physical chemistry isn't there? Cruising at a bathhouse makes the grid IRL, no guesswork. And no awkwardness around "do I have to imply I would be interested in meeting up with this person again out of politeness?" as with apps, the default assumptions is 1 & done & keep it moving. I've hooked up with guys off apps & got messages later that were v much pining, gushy & lowkey pathetic? Like what did you think this was? All to say if I was single again & purely dtf, NSA, I'd sooner do that than go on an app.
  2. Mow That Lawn would sound so good in the context of this collection of songs & the lyrics feel very topical to her life post-Brat. I Don't Mind with Jack would also sound great here!
  3. My favorite on here! Having to wait from the listening party until today to hear it again was TORTURE. I felt it carried on the tradition of Unlock It & I Got It doing away with the pretense of lots of lyrics and stripping things bare to just what needs to be there, it's so compact
  4. And they'll probably never retire because they'll take any excuse to get out of the house to be away from you and your stench from the basement
  5. Playing the songs in a totally random order versus the order they were sequenced in on your 1st listen is pretty revealing. Did you actually go into this hoping for anything other than something to snark about?
  6. I've listened a few times now (the flight to Russia is sometimes shorter than the 1 to NZ) and I adore this album. I want to hear her do more in this style of music
  7. I rly think there is no way it ever went live. Fans said scalpers got them all but I just checked eBay and there isn't even 1 copy listed. Pre-orders get listed on there all the time, even if that's technically against the rules. They couldn't have sold out a whole run of singles off of fans alone in such a short period of time. And why did no physical stores sell copies? They should clear the air on this tho
  8. That Daine song is a Hungry Man microwave meal version of Grimes, don't pmo. Worst music of their career & only getting hype because of the recent-ish Nina collab that actually bangs
  9. I recently crashed out over this. A few days ago, I stumbled across the Reddit account of somebody I indirectly work with. Their first name is in their username, they frequently post about our workplace & say "I work at blank", it's an instant match to his identity. This whackjob was in our city's subreddit talking about "I'm 2 months sober from not nutting after recovering from my porn addiction". The contract of our employment verbatim says "don't post anything you wouldn't put on a billboard with your name attached". People have lost their minds when it comes to discretion. The internet is a loud place with a lot of noise but people can still hear you!
  10. You tell me! It's your thread, I'm not on X, I have no idea what you're talking about. Share with the class!
  11. This "we live in a society" type thinking around dating makes me cringe so bad. Every serious boyfriend I've ever had has had hair loss & the only person who ever gaf about it was them!
  12. Olivia released an album so good that it expanded her audience & made her preexisting audience revisit her past work. TLOAS produced the opposite effect & made a lot of casual fans experience burnout
  13. Yes I'm fragile and yes
  14. Considering not 1 artist involved got good press, you'd have to be totally desperate & exhausted your other options.. Katy?
