  3. There's nothing inherently wrong with writing camps of course. It's just that these days people are more interested in artists whose songs and lyrics are personal and heartfelt, which makes sense. When an artist is just singing words on the page you can make a nice song but there's not much to connect to. Over time the artists that people connect to more are the ones that stick around
