I'm in the "he made this just for me" camp. Love the vibe, the talking, that it seems much looser in structure just like the first single. I love that him and Charli and not giving a **** and making whatever they want.

I bet the full song will sound fine but we shall see...

Maybe one of the most shockingly bad directions and moments of 'got it wrong' from an artist in.. a long time.

He talked in an interview about feeling insecure about how many gay men now listened to him and what that meant for him as a gay man wanting to flirt with, date, and interact with other gay men, and that seems to have.. skewed his own perceptions of who listens to his music.

There's some elements of embracing his sexuality in the last album, but he's not actually making "sniffing poppers" club music. He's making radio-friendly pop music. His main audience is still like... young women or young gay men, not people who do ketamine in clubs. Charli's audience =/= his.

One of his most streamed songs on Spotify is still a song that soundtracked a teen film about being gay.

I guess I will need to listen to the full track to give a proper opinion, but this teaser is really good. And the samples works perfectly too.
