I miss the storytelling and emotionality of his work BN-IAD. I enjoyed STGEO but it was easily my least favorite of his projects, and what we've seen and heard so far indicates he's moving even further away from what I've always loved about his work.

Exact opposite for me I fear. I enjoy "Rush" well enough, but it wouldn't make my top 30 of his discography and I'm not interested in him pursuing the sound or themes further. The snippet of "Party" is literally just a list of cruising spots. It does less than nothing for me.

I'm extremely excited for this. Something To Give Each Other was an INCREDIBLE album and I loved "She's The Best." He's got his finger on the pulse right now I'm telling y'all! And hint: what gets mainstream Mcdonalds of pop success is not "on the pulse."

that's fair, everyone likes him for different things or all his different sides. i haven't heard the snippet so i'm going off just from the lead; tho i hate unchanged, prominent sample use (like in GMS).

I dont know why the swiftologist hates him that much. ...but that said he doea need some singing lessons and get better with his live singing.
