That will never stop being weird to me, the way pop (especially bubblegum pop) ruled from the late 90s to 2001 and then it's like it went out of style overnight in the US. It's like everyone collectively decided they'd had enough. Anyway, late 90s-early 00s is still the best period in music for me, especially in the UK and Europe.
