I think this is better than Tate's debut album, so if it's a strategic move they're doing it well.

Y'all overdramatic af, this is not as bad as you made it out to be. Ofc it's not The Provocateur, but I still think it displays her strenghts while being more commercially ready. Nicole Kidman sounds like a smash, and I love the throwback sound of Boys and Fantasize. Starving Artist could have easily been on her debut ep. My only skips are the two ballads, they sound straight out of C,XOXO and I mean it in the worst way possible. Other than that, a perfectly fine pop album that I'm going to enjoy.

I need to breathe, this is almost overwhelming.

Let's just say that I don't have the same fear by skipping this.

Haven't heard the album yet, but I'm sure AlexWarrenSombrMorganWallen (aka NastyDirtyGross) deserved to be on the record 100%. A BOP. Hopefully it'll be out with an eventual deluxe.

Addison's debut album was an exception, it can't be the rule for everyone. It was extremely impressive precisely because it was her debut.

Yep, we all know unfortunately. Still, that was something that happened a few years and debut albums after she started doing music. We're talking here of an artist who got signed to a major and released an EP of 7 songs and that's it. She has an entire career to built, and she doesn't have that much to lose compared to what Kim had before signing to a major.

Tate has been doing music for 8-9 years already, they're not comparable in any way.

It's an album she probably needs to become more famous, I love her EP and I'm also sad she didn't follow that route but it wouldn't have performed the same commercially. I don't mind a sellout when it's her debut and she's still very young. Her talent as a performer is undeniable and things can only get better from this.
