this feels like a reductive version of B2b. Lazy , unispired song & lyrics. I don't think people were asking for this when wanting a dance pop version or troye..

Excellent visuals though , what a wasted budget.

yeah this is my biggest problem with this era. I don't mind She's the Best as the lead cause he was clearly trying to make a statement on what the album is and where he is as an artist, it felt more like an introduction to the era. But it clearly didn't hook people and he needed to follow up with something more digestible. I think this video would've been fun for album release day because of shock value (just like One of Your Girls back in the day), but as the second single he really should've chosen one of the poppiest songs to get people interested

Imo this is another single choice that, down the road, many people (ie, ATRL impulsive first responders) will appreciate more. It's intentional, confident, and the video is a spectacle in so many iconic pop ways.

I understand what he's trying to do, it's just not for me. The MV is really really good. The production sounds expensive and Music is very well integrated, it's really not a cheap-sounding interpolation. So why can't we have a lyric and a melody to just go along with all those amazing parts? That's so disappointing because it feels like the potential was through the roof for this project so far and that's what we're getting.

Would I go up to it in the club? Sure.

Was the video funny and well-made? Yes!

But something is not giving this era… I feel like we don't understand why Something to Give Each Other worked and this is kind of like an approximation that a wannabe would do and not the actual doer.

Let's see what the album gives but Troye sweeeetie you are breaking my heart.

Loving the song & music video. He's really eating this era! I'd say this is hands down his best era! He finally feels comfortable within himself & making bold statements.

I don't get the Charli XCX comments. Sounds nothing alike.

The Music sample couldn't save whatever this is omg. He's releasing this as 2nd single i can't imagine the rest of the album tbh.

I love Troye but these tracks just aren't landing for me. Respect to him for trying something different, and I'm glad some people are enjoying it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for some more melodic deep cuts on the album.

I prefer Party to She's the Flop, but he can and should do way better than this.

To have a Music sample and end up with a song like this should be illegal. He should just stop trying to be the male Charli XCX, we don't need it and it's just not interesting enough.
