This is perfect, tbh. She's on another level, and is a valedictorian among studied pop girls who just understand the assignment every time. I think my favorite aspects of the album recall late '90s/early '00s electronica in unexpected ways. There's some William Orbit energy at multiple points here, and that's a massive compliment. At different points, I got some of my favorite flavors of Madonna. Bedtime Stories was a surprise, but then other moments felt like ROL and Music (all complimentary). Not surprised to see Pontus Winnberg's name on multiple favorites. Also, at other times, it's the kind of music I wish Aly and AJ would make now. Just saying. It's so adventurous, but so cohesive, too. This is one of my favorites this year already, and may become my favorite album of hers altogether.

This album is a production and alt-pop masterpiece. There's so much to take in on so many levels. She put her whole ass into this one. 😍

Imo this is another single choice that, down the road, many people (ie, ATRL impulsive first responders) will appreciate more. It's intentional, confident, and the video is a spectacle in so many iconic pop ways.

Love all of what she did on the extra tracks. This is truly her best project.

This! I really enjoy STB and I imagine it has its comfy place on the album. I'm expecting this one to be the one most upbeat-Troye fans are waiting for though.

I've spent some time with this + the bonus tracks woven in, and I'm enjoying it much more than I did initially. The only track I outright can't get into is "I'm the Man". It feels like such a b-side.

Been a fan for ages but this is her first album in a while that I've consistently loved all the way through. Some career highlights in this one!

Oh and "Nasty Dirty Gross" should have absolutely been on the standard album.

Definitely underwhelmed on first listen and agree with those that wish the sound here was less basic. There are definitely some bright spots and I'm super excited to see her live, but I do prefer her approach on the EP much more.

Will always love them, but I'm ready for something properly new.

I can't get over how hard this hits. The fact that people continue to sleep on her is inane.

This is my fave of all their new stuff, and mostly because that video is pure fire.

The Lolla and BBC sessions have only solidified her longevity as a musician for me. Even after going nonstop for as long as she did, she's still shows up hungry. What a queen.
