"Yeah" gives me the same euphoric feeling that Troye's "Honey" does. 😍

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
As I've been sitting with this album, I realized that I don't think I've had this much fun being a fan of a pop girl in a long time. She will always deliver something intentional and with strong reference points in a way that scratches the itch of why I ever loved pop music. She gets it, and she knows when to push and when to pull. She reminds me of why I love pop more than any other artist has in a while.

Gracie Abrams - 'Daughter from Hell'
Also "Afflictions" and "Out of Nowhere" would make a wonderful double release if they were paired with a film or something. These are begging for syncs. 😍

Gracie Abrams - 'Daughter from Hell'
I hope anyone who didn't enjoy this upon release has given it at least one revisit. It's the epitome of a grower album, but once it settles, it hits like a mf.

"Yeah" is so layered and intentionally produced for a song with such sparse lyrics . Every time I listen, it gets better. I hope she can have a proper lasting hit from this album, but esp hope it's with this one.

We can have, and need, both these days!

She deserves every bit of this.

Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
She is legit my favorite pop star story. The fact that she's been consistently releasing good music for years now is such a cherry on top of her story. Can't wait to see her live!

Shania Twain - 'Little Miss Twain'
I was cautious approaching this album but with some of y'all's reviews, I'm genuinely stoked to listen. What a time to be alive!

Loved reading all of this.

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
Also this feels much more mixtape-Charli than her last couple of releases so I can def understand the polarizing responses and the hyperbolic criticisms.

"Yeah" legit needs to be 10 minutes long. What a vibe.

Obsessed with this and the fact that she will forever keep us guessing as an artist. Not a bad song in the bunch IMO. Of the unreleased ones, I love "Card Declined," "Yeah," and "Magic Metal Montana."

Gracie Abrams - 'Daughter from Hell'
The album as a whole really clicked with me a couple of days ago . So many standouts, with "Afflictions," "Men Like You," and " Death Wish" being immediate faves beyond "Hit the Wall." I can't wait to spend even more time with it. "Minibar" is an easy least fave, but even that one is still cute. As bonus tracks go, I wasn't at all expecting "Out of Nowhere" to be some of her best work ever. I understand how it doesn't fit the proper album, but damn, I halfway wish she would have held on to this for a standalone release down the line. I'd love to hear an album that goes more in this direction someday. Now I'm super bummed I didn't get tix to this tour before they sold out.

Kelly Clarkson - "I'd Be Lyin'"
Ok this is much cuter than I was expecting it to be! And I like the odd structure to it, too. Hope we get more from her before the year's over!

Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
Finally been diving into this deeper the last week or so and I'm honestly more in awe with each listen. The production and melodies are just so refreshing at this point in her career. She, Stuart, and co. put their whole asses into this.

Rebecca Black - "Hot Wet Delirious"
This is so good!

Olivia Rodrigo - 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love'
Just popping in to say without question that "Stupid Song" will be a top 3 favorite song contender this year. I can't get enough! I will return to the rest of the album with more frequency soon, but for now I'm living for this one.

Gracie Abrams - "Hit The Wall"
One of my favorite songs this year.
-
Katy Perry f/ Chief Keef - "Legendary Lovers (Save Me)”
Horrible idea and horrible remix for a killer song.
-
Perrie - "Passenger Princess"
Here for it! Her debut had so many earworms. edit: It's out??
-
Maisie Peters - 'Florescence'
"Kingmaker" and "Say My Name In Your Sleep" remain my faves. Also really dig "Questions" and "Vampire Time." The album is definitely going to turn off fans of the last two, but I think it's really consistent and well-produced for its style.

Charli xcx - "SS26"
Really digging this era 😍

Olivia Rodrigo - "the cure"
Damn, this is good!
