Bloated, too long, dated production. Some great lyrics but that's it. When you lack in the vocal department if you also lack in the production and make an album that doesn't end, you end up doing the opposite of what you aspire: you end up being boring. Also just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I mean she has already sold over 15k tickets for a show in a stadium happening in like 2 or 3 weeks. That's already a great start.

Anyway i was checking and Madonna streams on spotify are someting: 2026: +2B already (as of last week...so still 3 months to go) 2025: 1,742B 2024: 1,94B 2023: 1.7B 2022: 1.1B 2021: 872M Basically even without Confessions II, this year would already be her biggest streaming year and we still have 3 months to go meaning she has a shot of getting to 2.5b in 2026

She was wearing that huge thing on her knee (leg actually) for her previous entire tour. The only part she didn't wear it was for Vogue / Human Nature / Crazy For You and she wasn't moving much different to right now during that section. (she basically walked for Vogue and sat down ) My bet is they are doing the same thing here. I mean...the last time she started a tour it was 3 months after waking up from a coma and having sepsis. Compared to that this is "nothing". If there's a person that will figure it out is Madonna. She has all the means to do it and i'm sure she's surrounded by the best doctors all the time.

I mean: Beyonce never got for albums like Beyonce, Lemonade or Renaissance and got it for Cowboy Carter. Bruno Mars got it in a year with severe competition and almost no one expected it. It felt bittersweet at best. Plus the album is probably one of his weakest lmao. Beck got it when no one was counting on it and Beyonce was nominated for the Beyonce album. Harry Styles winning for THAT album was...a choice. A Mumford and Sons album won in 2013. Jon Batiste won in 2022. Some of these albums are legit great but didn't have a lot of sales nor were they cultural moments (Jon Batiste), others were hardly the best albums of the year critically (Bruno Mars with a 70 on Metacritic) or commercially (Beck) Madonna could definitely win. Her album was a huge comeback for her. It was critically acclaimed, it hit #1 in almost all major markets, she's been getting collabs left and right and has kept herself on the news for most of the time since the album released plus the narrative would be amazing and very fitting. Madonna, the best selling female artist ever, now a 68 year old woman winning AOTY would basically set the stage for every female artist that ATRL stans for that are also ageing and after she has been ignored for basically almost all of her career. Plus winning the award without toning it down for the GP and in a time the conservative far right is in the government would be such a moment. Plus it would mark the first dance album to win this since Daft Punk. Anyway...imagine going back a year ago and telling everyone this is even a conversation to have lmao. We truly came back from the trenches after the last 3 eras.

Those albums got great reviews. Madonna winning that award would open the doors for all the others that are coming. We see plenty of actresses above 50 or even 60 getting their flowers. It's time the music industry does the same!

Plenty of people have named it as one of of this year's best albums. If it gets a nomination and wins its not forced in any way nor is it a lifetime achievement award lmao. Beck won against Beyonce and plenty of albums that no one has ever heard of win that big award. How is it "getting out of hand"? This isn't MDNA. Its a legit amazing album that deserves to be up there as one of the greats.

Theres also a lot of love for her and her performance. She's literally winning best performance of the night by multiple media outlets. People just focus on the worst tweets from nobodies that no one knows.

After watching Shakira live just this past weekend all i could think of was: "how tf is she almost 50?" This was by far the most choreo-heavy show i've ever seen by a woman between 40/49. Like it's not even close. And the woman still moves with every bone and muscle of her body. No holding back. Multiple dancing styles, multiple genres of music...and she manages to kill them all with ease. The gays are sleeping on this legend cause she's never a part of the conversation on the best dancers and she's better than 99% of all of them.
