the interview of young Taylor saying she wont be the girl who achieve what she wish and then hate it, so in some capacity she still enjoy her fame. she love making music and also make that music success, girlies dont want to release some pretentious arstsy stuff that no one bother to listen to. i like that about her. cause if i was her, with the money and success she has, one loud complain on the internet and oops i will dissapear from the public eyes (she kinda did in the rep era but not for too long) or i would fighting tooth and nail every days on X or even withdraw some of my beloved music from streaming, lol.

there is no rep tv, she already confirmed that in her letter, it will be a rep deluxe or annivesary with like 5-6 extra vault songs, but the original songs are the same, she didnt re-record those. Its better that way though, i dont use any of her re-record pop songs, the original vocal match the mood of the song better.

Still too soon to tell where these songs land in her discography. But i appreciate that after 20 years with over 250 songs. She still can come up with new fresh melody and song concept. You dont know how hard it is to craft a song, like even professional songwriter sometimes took months to have a song. Even those artists that are shopping for demo still took years to finish an album. And artists can create on their own time, i just highlight Its super hard to come up with song concept and execute it well. Our girl is gifted, and still doesnt get enough credit for how talented she is when it come to songwriting.

I say trust the process. Jack's production sound safe but they fit the song vision perfectly thats the reason why years later those songs still sound fresh. They can do more quirky innovative thing but lets them do it naturally and gradually otherwise it will feel like the products of its time and get old real quick.

Nobody act like this though. All we ask is lets us enjoy these songs in peace without people up in our face complaining whinning abc xyz blah blah blah all the time especially in the base, go moan in the metacrictic thread, in the spotify thread, you will find people with the same dislike, more in common. Or 3 days has passed, move on. Like im a big fan of eternal sunshine but not feeling petal at all, i give my 2 cents in like 1 post in Ari album thread and leave, lets whoever enjoy the album enjoy it. The same with Renaissance to Cowboy Carter. Like you dont have to be annoying for some music you dislike.

This, like i gets it people have different taste but how the hell these 4 songs cause all of this conversation and a 40 score. They are well-crafted songs with good lyrics and concept and melody. Yeah they can point out how Cleveland or P0 bridge is bad but it was like 1.3 bad parts/4. Like a 60 70 scores feel ok people just dont like these songs. but 40 is giving hate campaign. Like name a mainstream pop songs release this year have better story telling than Babylon, Pink Clouding, P0.

if anything this will fuel her, she has been always been competitive. But with the married and maybe kids on the way she might be like 2016 and hide away, f this i will be focus on my personal life. Now she seem to navigate and understand the hate well and most importantly her works will be appreciate in the long run compare to initial reaction. Its a pattern at this point.

why she is becoming a AM artist like the RnB girl and Beyonce ? Seem like she is doing much better overthere comapre to Spotify

this she is always playing its safe. And the moment some unconventional melody or lyric purposeful done to translate the message of the song and they are screaming , crying and throwing rocks already lol

the video is so good. she is becomming a good video director and visual teller. Pop music video has been so stale lately, we need more investment on music videos like we use to. and the brige really grow on me, it captured perfectly the gossipping conversation with the "i know" "ah ha". People always acused her of playing it saved and her melody/lyric are getting boring, but whenever she came up with a unconventional bridge like this one, people also back away. Like i dont force you to like the bridge but at least appreaciate the intention behind even though you dont like the final product.

My algorithm is getting better after a couple days. I start reading more positive reaction and people are coming to defend. Its a cycle at this point. U know u that girl when you are causing all this conversation over 4 deluxes songs that typically no one would care about if it was any other artists. I see why people dislike Patient Zero bridge, but after realizing it supposed to be a gossiping conversation with girlfriends then its kinda genius. Or the dislike for Cleveland. But how come people that "used to like Taylor" can hate on Pink Clouding and Babylon, the melody and lyrics are classic Swiftian.

Its kinda funny but all this psychosis everytime she released anything kinda make me feel like im stanning an indie artist that no one know about lol. Like romanticise the us against the world troop. The most important thing is if we still can connect with her music or not. Im scared with the Showgirl release but after sometimes and this encore, i appreciate this era for what it is. Songs like Ruin The Friendship, Father Figure, Opalite, Babylon, Pink Clouding proved that i can still pretty much connect with her music on a personal level.

Yeah it gets to u. Thats why i respect her even more for standing on her art like this Encore. We will be ok though, the hate is loud but it has always been like this since Fearless era, its just get louder now cause she literally the bigget artist in the world now.

TTPD is a strong work of art. There i say it. So Showgirl while not being a very good album has its moment and understandably to come right after the depressed Poets. Its just the expectations are always insane for her and each groups of people want her to release in a direction that they want. And its valid,we all want our fave to do this and do that. But in the end lets respect an artist artistry and lets them create and release what they want. Showgirl is a silly fun era, but the amount of tik tok about this is same girl who wrote folklore is insane. When she release another folklore then that group will be happy but another group will be pissed. Its a dilemma that she cannot win so she choose to stay true herself and i respect that and enjoy the ride. (In short: maybe not enjoy full of showgirl but i can get behind the ideal)

Out of 12 albums, its ok to not like 1 or even 4 albums. Be a casual fan, check out the music, if its not for u then maybe next time. What is there to concern lol?

Its 4/4 for me now. While the OG showgirl was like around 7/12. The way she knew how to craft a song with such unique concept. Like everyone can think of those concept but to make it to a catchy song is another story, and she is such a master on that. Those bridges sound jarring at 1st but now i appreciate that while some artists doesnt bother to write a bridge anymore, she is still trying to write those in different ways. Patient 0 bridge sounded exactly like two girls gossiping, the ah ha, i know capture that perfectly well. Cleveland bridge is a cringfest but its so camp and put a big smile on my face. She rap or whatever on Pink Cliuding bridge. And Babylon bridge is Swiftian classic, hit so close to home.

Showgirl is as safe as it get but how come TTPD safe? A 31 songs long double album with insane amount of lyrics, chunky melodies that needs time to grow. She could easily do a upbeat pop album to celebrate the Eras tour but its not whats happenning in her real life, and she choose to be an actual artist and release that boring 31 songs album. And i get that some might called it a boring mess but its not a safe move at all.

imagine how tired we are. Expecting artist to change their sound every single eras are just not realistic and which fans actually want that? Taylor has drastically change her sound in the past from country to pop, to folkmore, to TTPD and back to pop with showgirl. Its not like she release the same 12 albums, you have the diversity to choose from. And she still have a long career ahead, she will change her sound when she feel like it naturally, and she doesnt need to do it in a gimmicky way for every single era.

this, i learn to enjoy Taylor`s release without those negative vibe from people that already waiting to spill their 2 cents critical opinions when they read the announcement. Like rep was panned, lover was kidbop, folklore initial reception is ok, then evermore is a bored, Midnights is hack, TTPD is dragged, showgirl is nothingburger. Like people cannot be normal with a Taylor`s release, so lets them be. We are all individual and can enjoy wahtever we want, i just hope people should focus more on their fave artists, their fave music rather than spend time for someone they didnt like.
