Canada Dry is an excellent dance song very light years Kylie , however he has not the power to pull a full falsetto chorus , the hook & melody get kind of lost/drowned

Lisa wasn't in the room or in mind while creating it. This song came about during one of few sessions Max , Ilya , Tove lo & Tove Burmann had together. I guess wolf cousins (max's publishing company) pitched it out to A&R's and labels and then it landed on Lisa. There is a demo of the song sung by Tove

sounds decent , a least there's an interesting melody there. I hope there are some lower octave layered vocals there cause leaving the falsetto only makes the hook sound empty

Max Martin is not the problem here... mind you it's the same person that went into a room with Tove lo and created "New Woman" Taylor needs a big creative break , she's a brilliant songwriter but needs a good rest from the showbiz

this sounded promising but need A LOT of work to it , it's a shame Miley passed on it , she needs a good A&R along with Zara

that part of the hook is sooo melodically haunting & pleasing

this feels like a reductive version of B2b. Lazy , unispired song & lyrics. I don't think people were asking for this when wanting a dance pop version or troye.. Excellent visuals though , what a wasted budget.

FAMT, are we on a break , borderline , DFMAWALH, Mateo are all a sad , frustrated but euphoric version of Tove which she tip toes through now and again since 2018, but the good thing is we have 2 whole albums of that headspace (lady wood & more raw blue lips). I think it's hard for her to go into that space when she doesn't have a good reason for it, I mean she's independent , rich , has a loyal cute fanbase and is happily married. She's an excellent writer and that's why artists want to write with her , because they know she can help then get into that headspace and be unapologetically sad and sexual

I get why she chose IYGR , it's very hunty , feline and upbeat, It represents the album as a whole. BUT the problem is the production is a bit too watered down... the live version is much more energetic and complete. The same thing happens with borderline , the live version is much more dramatic.
