maggots is very ear candy and it's so honest , raw and a different take on being in love ; Expectations is also great , im really divided (though maggots wins for me personally)

this doesn't sound very promising tbh... can he hire a vocal coach and learn how to sing? his vocals & vocal production are always a mess and water down the potential and melody of 90% of the songs he makes ; angel baby was vocally perfect por example.

this is great , but the key should be higher , her voice would shine better at a higher key

the problem here is both artists wanting to have too much control over everything and their ideas being mid.

yeah this album is definitely not for me... the production is too minimalist , too much whispery vocals , the layering is too much sometimes , choruses are not there... this doesn't feel like an Ariana album. HTIMYLM is definitely the obvious single choice. I really loved ES but this is just... not for me (which is not a bad thing , I hope y'all enjoy the album) I guess the Ariana that gave us maximalist choruses & production is gone now and its ok.

I think some of us are hearing different things cause this is by no means a disaster.... are we on a break sounds directly taken from blue lips , its excellent , my only complain is the production should go harder and it ends abruply die for my art with a lonely heart is also very good but ends abruptly DNH is pretty decent too

mmm I'm not feeling this era.. not liking the sonic or melodic direction... A shame cause her past 2 albums (specially her last one) are excellent

was expecting to hate this but... it's good? I agree about the dramatic episode ending vibe , cause it's kind of nostalgic & emotional in a bright way (that's why some here compare it to SK) I wish the production went even more dramatic on the final chorus though (* stromae was not needed as a feature tbh... wish it was solo or Angele instead)
