that part of the hook is sooo melodically haunting & pleasing

this feels like a reductive version of B2b. Lazy , unispired song & lyrics. I don't think people were asking for this when wanting a dance pop version or troye.. Excellent visuals though , what a wasted budget.

FAMT, are we on a break , borderline , DFMAWALH, Mateo are all a sad , frustrated but euphoric version of Tove which she tip toes through now and again since 2018, but the good thing is we have 2 whole albums of that headspace (lady wood & more raw blue lips). I think it's hard for her to go into that space when she doesn't have a good reason for it, I mean she's independent , rich , has a loyal cute fanbase and is happily married. She's an excellent writer and that's why artists want to write with her , because they know she can help then get into that headspace and be unapologetically sad and sexual

I get why she chose IYGR , it's very hunty , feline and upbeat, It represents the album as a whole. BUT the problem is the production is a bit too watered down... the live version is much more energetic and complete. The same thing happens with borderline , the live version is much more dramatic.

she has some vault songs that are supposedly really awesome right ?

what about: are we on a break , IYGR , DFMAWALH & source of life ? dirt femme had flop in the head , im to chop , true flop etc

this is not the troye sivan party thread I'm afraid...

im sorry but what is the reason for this? weak & polarizing singles really affect the perception and anticipation of an album , specially for a niche artist (see MARINA or more recently Tove's estrus)

still thinking y'all are doing too much on her... maybe the descriptions were a bit misheaded (des fleurs was called eurotrash lol) but this is by no means a disaster or a mid album

this is very solid. The chorus is great , what throws me off is the first verse , it should be more melodic and not so quiet talking. It works for the second verse though , an Olivia R strategy

this... I'm very critical of melodies & songs and the unreleased stuff she has teased sounds pretty decent. The lead still sounds like the weaker song , the chorus never grew on me
