  • Isn't Palestine a homophobic country? Legally weren't homosexuals sentenced to go to jail for existing in Palestine? Why would I care about a country that promoted morals against MY existence? Why are

Yes, but to be honest even with the controversy I would not be rushing to see it. It looks terrible from all of the promotional material, and I'm sick of hearing Neve complain about the pay discrepancy at this point

yes, we stand with Melissa clap3

also it looks bad and I got it spoiled for me anyway noparty

Yeah. I'll catch it when my favorite YouTube reactors watch it sistrens

I suppose in the sense I was never planning on seeing it

to be fair i never seen a screams movie in theatres to begin with so

I was gonna pay to watch in theaters, but I found out about the Palestinian controversy, so I will be pirating clap3

I won't see it in theatres 'cuz it looks so boring and played out by this point.

Well, are you?

No. michael

Already bought my tickets with a friend of mine. It's the most consistent horror franchise, along with Evil Dead.

I do wish we kept following Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega's characters, because Scream 6 was personally one of my favorites (and my poor sis Sidney needs some rest)

I'm not boycotting but I'm also not seeing in theatres since the last two were horrible and from what I've heard this one is too lol they should've stopped at 4 honestly.

Her response is really great in emphasizing the criticism of the governing bodies causing the genocide. So much pro-Palestine messaging is met with unfounded accusations of anti-Semitism so it's great to see her really drill down that even Jewish people should be disgusted by Israel.

This genocide is simply unexcusable on all fronts unless you have an evil vested interest in the state of Israel.

Even without the boycotting, it's just not interesting to see the same thing over and over again. 5 and 6 were going in an interesting direction, but now with 7 it's back to the nostalgia well, like ain't you tired miss hilly?

I already don't care about the series. The only good one imo was #1, lmao. That being said, I wouldn't see it anyway because I don't believe in being fired for standing up for Palestine so.

Yes! as a scream diehard, i was upset at first to turn my back on the franchise but this new one does not look good anyway. scream 4 will always be supreme

This looks 10x better than both 5 and 6, but whatever helps you with that boycott you speak of heart2

5 was bad, and i would never say it isnt, because the first 2/3 of the film are on par with 3. the final act does save it from being quite as bad as 3. 6 was campy fun though, the return of great chase scenes and some very unique kills made it feel fresh.

not trying to cope at all, i genuinely just don't even feel like 7 will be good. the trailers look and feel like a different franchise in terms of how Syd interacts with ghostface. all the new actors are randos except for mckenna grace and the pitch perfect stewardess lady. also, in the literal last two movies Sydney is supposed to have newborn children and somehow now her kid is high school aged.

This isn't all about Melissa, it's really not even about her at all. Of course I'm gonna boycott a movie that fires people for saying genocide is bad, but I'm not one of those people that think thinks that something I dislike has to be bad because I don't like it. I just happen to think this looks, at best, on par with 3 and 5. it doesn't even look funny, and that's a shock because Kevin is literally back to write and direct.

i'd gladly eat my words, though once I watch it on streaming if its good. but I will not see it in the theater
