Hey, I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. I've had a similarly poor relationship with food in the past and used to be really underweight. I spent a lot of my teenage years waiting for everyone else to finish eating and would just throw food in the bin after they'd left. What I found worked for me was prepping all my meals in advance for the whole week so food was just there for me to eat - otherwise I'd just skip meals. I did have a phase of doing meal replacement shakes but it was so miserable I had to stop. I found as you gradually increase the amount of food you're eating, eventually it gets easier to eat normal portion sizes, especially if you combine it with some exercise. I still find it difficult to eat in front of other people, but I live alone now which has massively helped for the most part. I guess I wanted to say that it might feel terrible now but it can get better. Wishing you the best!
