is she really doing a hiatus? it seems like people putting words in her mouth imo. from what i got from her statements and team messages, is that you won't be seeing her as prevelant as she is now. but that's something that was already gonna happen regardless. ariana has never been the type to sit down and do nothing, she'll always be working on some sort of project.

her singing on petal is definitely there, it's just not the main focus of the song. people just be wanting her to sing out loud just to sing for no good reason. just because you have the ability to sing high notes, doesn't mean you should have to do it every single time, for every single song, for every single verse/chorus.
