French DJ Kavinsky dies at 50
50 is pretty young to go. Rest in peace. He may have initially reacted very stupidly to DWAS (Requiem Version) but he did eventually come around. So many deaths recently and none of them being Trump, too.

I truly wonder if the new Madead album is actually good or just not what would have been the 5th consecutive turd she released in the 21st century Coming back to ATRL I knew the sex and friend-deprived fomos would be a mess with this album rollout and Gaga. Meanwhile in real life, a Madonna album release party at one of the biggest queer clubs in NYC was dead by 1am, even with all that excessive corny Grindr promo. Let the sis get her flowers for what seems like her first decent album in 20 years that she could only get by copy and pasting one of her old eras. Thankfully we don't have to suffer that with Mayhem being quality and LG8 being the same.

I just saw and lmaooo what a geriatric HAG I don't even agree with what Charli said about dance music but making a "shady" post while pushing 70 is not giving secure pop legend. It's so comforting knowing Godga is going to age gracefully.

I don't blame many of the POVs here and I too shared them, which makes Mayhem such a miracle record and era. I truly never would have expected to keep up with a full-fledged pop era again so deep into adulthood. We have multiple examples of popstars killing it in their 40s and it's crazy how I'm more optimistic about her pop career in 2026 than I was in 2023 given her current health and happiness.

The initial drags about Mayhem leaving the BB200 were always so bizarre considering it surpassed BTW and has charted almost as many weeks as The Fame Monster itself These 40-year-old losers have to scrape the very bottom of their bed pans to "drag" her with anything ddddd

Not that this means anything but her body looked far too snatched at the DWP2 premiere for someone about to take off on a hiatus and have a baby. That and her campaigning the end of Mayhem pretty decently also makes me think something is coming sooner than we think.

Which pop girl is the most dependent/reliant on collabs?
It's been like this every day ever since the 2013 "Artpop will kill her career" allegations never came to fruition

Which pop girl is the most dependent/reliant on collabs?
The Cure was a random mid-week droplet, 911 barely got pushed months after the Chromatica era died via covid, and Disease is a top 20 platinum-eligible song with great recurrents. Also kiii at "generous" when MR hit 1 billion streams and went top 4. No one in the real world believes Gaga is as huge a bomb as this dying forum loves to pretend.
- Gaga breaks mid-year boxscore record with MAYHEM Ball. Surprised?

I don't think she would have mentioned these sessions in an official Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe if they weren't LG8/new music-oriented, though. Like, she made the intentional decision to clear that and even Weeknd collab rumors in that interview. It was probably her way of saying new music isn't coming soon but not 5 years away again. A drop as early as January 2027 wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

Actually didn't know Abracadabra was 2x Platinum eligible in the US. No smooth-brained OGH can convince anyone it wasn't a hit especially when it's hitting 1 billion streams at some point. Poor them, Mayhem having multiple hits. (You can include Disease here too since it's Platinum eligible)
