Kind of wish she'd bring back her keytars again. They've been missing since the Chromatica era

Going back to when Spotify launched its daily and weekly Top Artists chart in October 2021, this is where Gaga has ranked among other female artists weekly. (I would love to do daily but that would take forever. )

Highlighted in green are the weeks she was among the Top 10, and highlighted in red is the lowest she's ever fallen since the launch of the chart. For contextualization, I also put some notes next to weeks where important things happened. Just a warning: this is pretty lengthy since it goes back nearly 5 years.

Some interesting findings:

Although a flop, Hold My Hand did actually provide a noteworthy boost.

Bloody Mary really did boost her a lot, but then the radio silence the rest of 2023 saw her drop to her lowest point — that was the only week she left the Top 20 (though to be fair, it was in part due to Xmas artists rising). This kind of matches how it felt in retrospect.

The MAYHEM era has done wonders for her — she hasn't dropped out of the Top 10 since the release of Die With A Smile.

MAYHEM's release and Gagacabana were her peak (so far).

The Cockroach of Pop indeed

She might be coming sooner than we think omg...

I remember the whole drama with everyone attacking BloodPop for releasing the wrong version… when in reality everyone was asking for the wrong one lol. I like it, it's a bit plain (there are no harmonies, BG vocals…) but the instrumental is fun.

Not this base sinking to the second page of the base section. No endless rankings?

We we're counting on a 'Weeknd Collab Summer' to keep us afloat but Gaga betrayed us like Judas (baby!)

Is it her fault that people believed a rumour to begin with?

She just wrapped a big tour, lets let her have her down time too.

Overrated trash. The album version washes it in every way.

Someone just copied Captivated. Gaga better pull a Taylor Swift...

but she's too nice and motherly.

Yall I had to go to all the way to the second page to find the base, what's happening? Where are the countdowns, rankings, lashings and meltdowns that keep our base afloat?
