i mean there's a clear difference in how they spent their time after COADF/imperial-phase Gaga, and ReDone hasn't really done anything listenable memorable in the interim the way Stuart did

Even if it's over-hated, it's still by far her worst studio album.

Randomly thinking how we always wanted Gaga to have an era with a black wig and we finally got it with MAYHEM, and it was a successful reinvention. A lot of artists nowadays are bound to one look or sound and if they don't deliver on that the public doesn't want it. But with Gaga, everybody just expects her to do something left of field, sonically and with her image. Even if something doesn't hit, at least it was never oh we're sick of her doing this same thing over and over. She's always finding ways to bring something new to the table. Her being able to evolve is such a huge strength and a joy as a fan.

That title belongs to Chromatica. The only Gaga album you could delete and nothing of note from her discography would be lost.

It's a decent pop album, but a Gaga house inspired album should of been next level, not recycled Bloodpop beats
