  1. I ask myself this everyday tbh. Great song too.
  2. I've been many awkward dates before I got married. The most awkward was probably the one the guy left to "go to the washroom" and never came. (Probably because I didn't want to do it with him in said resturant washroom.)
  3. Jay Park - My Last I thought he said "You are so beautiful, get on this dick today." but it's actually "You are so beautiful, girl (then something in Korean)."
  4. I wish I still access to my old avis. I had them stored somewhere on classic ATRL and dumbly didn't back them up.
  5. I wonder if his loud anti-Trump stance has gained him any support. He's among the most vocal premiers in the country.
  6. Again - if someone has CONSENTED to being a surrogate than it is none of our damn business. That is the end. What they choose to do their bodies is between them and their doctor. They were very likely walked through all the risks prior to going through with it. If you feel surrogacy is wrong then don't do it.
  7. The Alberta UCP face their first test of the voters tomorrow - with a byelection in a Calgary riding. I suspect the UCP will still win, but with a narrow vote. On another note the UCP have put out a $4 million advertising campaign to tell voters how they "should" vote in next months referendum. Pretty sure the government itself shouldn't be taking sides - but only providing information on both options.
  8. There's no official word on how they had their child - but in the end it's really none of our business.
  9. Isn't she from Thailand - and wouldn't english be her 3rd language? So it's very possible she really didn't understand the gravity of the slur. Sounds like she was hand picked songs to sing, and given she was young and basically felt pressured into it, likely just went along with it. Sounds like she is trying to making amends for it now though? That being said - there's certainly toxic elements within the K-pop community that do need to be addressed.
  10. Why is Insta recommending me all these AI artists. Keep it to Thai pop please.
  11. I agree the corporations are awful, cutting costs and corners right to the point of using fake meats. But different countries have different food handling standards and import laws so they have to source their materials locally typically. I'm sure even in Canada they also get the cheapest meats they can find too. There was once a joke that McDonald's claims to use "100% pure beef" for is burgers here and can legally say that because the company they get it from is called "100% pure beef" (or something like that).
  12. That's not the same though. Having different suppliers is not the same as person with a criminal record simply crossing a border. I don't usually go to McDonald's anyways. There's better burgers elsewhere.
  13. This week was a struggle. Glad it's over.
  14. What someone else does to their body is none of our business. So if someone consents to being a surrogate for someone else who am I to judge. I'd imagine a healthcare professional walks them through the risks and it is very regulated. My husband and I were actually walked through the process once and it had very strict guidelines that had to be followed.
  15. We have no official word on how she had her baby so why are we even discussing the ethics of adoption or surrogacy in this thread.
  16. Congrats to the new parents.
  17. Me having to work a full time job to barely survive.
  18. They sent us home early from school. I remember it being the first time we ever saw that level of violence on television (at least that I can remember). It kind broke that so called "safety bubble" and the world was never the same afterwards. Kind of crazy to re-read forums like this again, where people were live posting. https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=105795
  19. Can you merge scrobbles from 2 tracks into one? For some reason there's a song on last.fm that is scrobbling as two different songs (even though it's just one). There's no difference in title so I'm kinda confused why it does that.
  20. Our home insurance cancelled on us with little notice for a dumb excuse and now I'm stuck in an 2 hour hold to talk to someone who probably can't even help me. If we can't resolve this we have to find replacement insurance asap because your mortgage requires active insurance. This is not how I wanted to spend my day.
  21. UK ATC outage. So glad I wasn't working today.
