The CGI dancing on the airplane wing is what music videos are all about

Yes!!! Europe won big time when she included it on her Europe tour last year!

Yes!

But one thing that always irks me is the lyric she sings referencing the indigenous people of Australia. The word she calls them to my North American ear sounds problematic but I think perhaps in Australia that is the correct term, but then...it is for the people it's describing? Anyone know?

I absolutely love it, and all those mid tempo songs like Go deep or Doesn't really matter

Def in my top 10 if not top 5 Janet Jackson songs of all time.

indigenous australians frown on it now but 30 years ago it was a term that was well known and uncontroversial. whether that's cos their antipathy twds it was less well understood back then (pre-widespread internet) or they just minded less back then idk but i feel sure she didn't mean anything by it

The Steve hurley mix is one of my favorite remixes of all time. Pretty good song by itself. Really fun and always put a smile on my face, even though I always thought of it as the poppier but lesser version of Escapade.

it's one of janet's best songs and it was a major radio hit here in europe. i used to hear it all the time

i remember watching the music video and thinking that was what society would look like by now :chick3:

It's such a cute song, it exists in the same universe as Escapade and When I Think of You.

This. It's a cute song. I was introduced to Janet when my mom bought the Design Of A Decade Greatest Hits, and she'd usually skip tracks 2/3 so it was an easy comparison for me to make.

Of course :gaynetcat2:

I hate that I'm such an albums kind of listener sometimes... Because I pay these droplets & compilation tracks dust HARD, despite loving them so much. Same with 3 by Brit, Keeps Gettin' Better by Legendtina, Miss You by Aaliyah, the list goes on and on.

It's got that super optimistic bright colorful everything's gonna be just fine 90s feel that I crave so YES!:gaynetcat4:

Yes! I wish it had a parent album, but it makes Design of a Decade even more worth it to listen to. It's fantastic through and through!

Kinda but hearing it in a grocery store setting kinda ruins it for me :skull:
