Kylie™'s On a Night Like This turns 26
One of best singles from miss Kylie™. It's euphoric and sleek dance pop done right.

25 years ago today, Mariah released 'Glitter'
I'd love to give it a stream for its birthday, but unfortunately miss Thang has taken it off streaming.

Gaga overtakes Billie's BOAF for most streamed song by a lead female. Surprised?
You could make an OGH wheel of excuses with this.

Will Gaga maintain success in her 40s?
I think she still has some successful years in her. Nevertheless I'm positive the music will be good, unless she decides to go the ARTPOP route again.

10 years of "Perfect Illusion"
Love the song but not a great choice for your big comeback single after undoing the damage of ARTPOP. She should've made 2 versions of it. A radio/single edit with more polished vocals and the version we have now. Because the production is fire, it's just that the rougher vocals are a bit off-putting for general audiences.

Buzzfeed drags P!nk for putting down women like Britney in 2007, s*** shaming Xtina
I was coming in here to nuance some of her early 2000's because those were very different times. She was definitely on a moral high horse back then, but so were other artists (Avril for example). But good lord, some of the things I read are straight up foul. Also taking into account her denial of a genocide happening, it seems like the 2008-2018 version of herself was just a mask and now her true identity has come out again. Maybe she should befriend Gwen Stefani. Rest in P!ss indeed.

What makes an album a 'pop bible' to you?
I consider pop albums with strong melodies and strong hooks a pop bible. Commercial success is not relevant. Furthermore may not have too many influences from other genres. Despite having marvelous albums, I don't consider any of Janet's albums to be pop bibles. She incorporates too many genres in her albums for them to be called such. The Fame Monster and Blackout are not a pop bible to me either. They have too many electro elements to be called such. Emotion is a pop bible to me.

Anyone remember Fergie's 'M.I.L.F. $'?
Oh yes, I still hear it multiple times a week. It's a great song to get me pumped during my morning run. I'd forgotten that Jon Kortajarena was in the video. He was looking fine there.

Why did radio pay dust to Avril's "Girlfriend"? (#74 year end on airplay)
Avril was a force on pop radio, but she didn't have support of R&B/Rhythmic radio stations. The latter format had the biggest audience at the time of her peak, so she was at a huge disadvantage. It's no coincidence that her only top 10 hits on radio (and the Hot 100) are the same songs that made it to #1 on pop. Only the biggest of the biggest pop hits managed to make the overall.

You have to marry one of these distinguished men, which one would you choose?
No ma'am, they look old enough to be my father. I'd rather be single for life then.
