In terms of "worst" that's only in the sense of lack of storms to track or hurricanes to track. The Pacific has been very active on the other hand and Hawaii had scares with both Lala and Lowell. California also got waves and rain from Hurricane Marie. El Nino usually prevents hurricanes and tropical storms from developing because of more wind shear and drier air in the Atlantic but it results in a more active Pacific hurricane season. Not to mention it usually results in a wetter rainy season for California and a stronger severe weather season for Florida. (as we saw in 1997/1998 and 2015/2016)

I remember even in 2012, Part of me had an empty theater too. Making a tour movie after releasing your worst album is absolutely asking for more failure
