One thing that is upsetting regarding the protests in France is not the protests itself, it's the fact that American media will try to use this moment to sway the elections and help the Republicans wins.

One thing the French will do is protest. I remember working for an airline call center that also handled international calls for KLM and Air France. I hope that I don't eat my words later on, but I am confident in Abdul winning Michigan. I have no idea about Talarico. The numbers are there when it comes to registered Democratic voters. It's just getting people to vote. I've read that there were recently over 140,000 evictions in Atlanta, which makes me nervous about Georgia. Thats 24% of all rental households in Metro Atlanta's core regions. This is too close to the elections for me to not think that the Republicans are up to something.
