  1. Hopefully it can keep up the momentum and become hit. I'm not yet fully on board with the song, but it sounds refreshing in today's mainstream pop landscape. Enough with the cursive and monotone songs. It's time to dance.
  2. B'Day. Everything about it is loud and festive and I love it.
  3. The thread title and the content in the OP are in correlation with each other. The albums aren't working would mean they always receive mixed reviews, which they don't. The success on the charts is something completely different. There I agree that the constant shifts in sound might contribute to a lack of success, with a few exceptions. I do think she doesn't let that discourage her, as she shouldn't. Always doing the same style isn't particularly better. Look at Taylor post Evermore, her output has been horrible with a few exceptions. As long as she's happy with the album she's making it's all good. I'll always give her new projects a spin, if I don't like them I'm bouncing, if I like them I'm adding them to my playlist. It's not that deep.
  4. It's her best song. A top 10 placement on the charts is the least it deserves.
  5. I'm not gagging. She's not all that but I will not pretend like she's awful either. She has a few good moments like Greedy, Sports Car, Revolving Door and *** For Tat + the 2025 VMAs. Overall I think she's very one dimensional.
  6. Sad and jobless behavior. Now if it were the star of a certain annoying orange... I'd get it. But miss Dolly brought nothing but good to the world.
  7. OT: I'd like to ship him back for 48,5%
  8. I hate who she has become. But I won't lie, her discography has gems for days. Heartbeat, Two Black Cadillacs, Good Girl, Blown Away, Church Bells, Before He Cheats, Last Name, Undo It, Cowboy Casanova, Drinking Alone, Renegade Runaway, ... Luckily we have Miranda Lambert to replace her.
  9. It's a little abrasive but I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it when you eat it
  10. Almost none of these are remotely close to being each artist's best work Someone Like You and Summertime Sadness reign supreme here. Halo and Cruel Summer are the worst.
  11. It could chart N/A and I wouldn't care. All I want is to have Creole on vinyl. How come I'd never heard of that bop? It's like the hotter sister of 1 Thing.
  12. Everything I Thought It Was was a major improvement over the horrible Man Of The Woods album but it still didn't come close to Futuresex/Lovesounds or The 20/20 Experience (Part 1). I hope the new one manages to be as good as those two.
  13. Talent won. This one is foul though. A straight up bop.
  14. Fame Is A Gun slaps, but otherwise miss Rae can go.
  15. Time to come for Telephone's wig. It's about time the superior song wins.
  16. I don't know him, so I can't answer the first question in the poll. Second question is a hard no though, I'm not attracted to him whatsoever.
  17. Now this one is underrated. This is the first time I've seen anyone talk positively about it.
  18. Although I don't agree, I love to see some love for Janet. These album cuts of hers are superior.
  19. Yours Truly = Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse My Everything = E=MC² Dangerous Woman = Debut Sweetener = Rainbow Thank U Next = Daydream Positions = Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel Eternal Sunshine = Caution Petal = Charmbracelet
  20. Can't wait for this woman to be forgotten and back to flopping in a few months. She brings nothing interesting to the table.
  21. The song is cute, but Crank It Up shook me more. That song is a fun, dated bop.
  22. I'm inclined to say yes. I'd never imagine in my life that the person who released Friday had songs like Foolish, Crumbs and Trust in her. Although Janet is a strong contender as well. Going from this offensively bland nothing burger of a song to albums like Control, The Velvet Rope and Damita Jo is insane.
  23. The blond one is the one that was released in my country, but I like the dark haired one better.
  24. Bye Single Ladies. It's cute once in a while, but that's it.
