It is valid? Yes. Taylor has put out much better bodies of work so the criticism of her lackluster releases and tone deaf offerings is 100% legit. Do I think it will affect her? Not as much as it would a smaller artist. Taylor's flops still pull numbers that some artists could only dream of. That said, if she doesn't course correct soon it could start to affect her longevity. She'll still be more successful than most of our favs though so…

Agreed. This might be a controversial opinion, but Ed isn't really who we should be focussing on. He was put in a difficult situation by Kraft and other venues. He had to decide whether or not to cancel those dates and risk people (crew, venue employees, and concert goers) losing money, or drop Macklemore. I think it's shitty that he chose to drop the opener rather than stand up against genocide, but I got the impression that Ed wouldn't have dropped him had there not been any pushback.
