  1. Unfortunately you're probably correct. I've never understood how people can just blindly support what's happening. I get how she might side eye him after he wore an allegedly anti-semetic costume, but that has nothing to do with her flat out refusal to acknowledge what's actually happening. Serious question: does Israel really have that much of a chokehold on Jewish people and Hollywood as a whole? (Wasn't sure how to phrase that question so I apologize if my wording is off).
  2. There are a few times that I don't mind it. AI does help with research aggregation specifically for archival and medical. When AI is able to pull and find multiple links between medical research papers it does sometimes help doctors and virologists to make connections faster than before which can help patients. It also helps when doing research in archives for things like schools and historical reports/essays/articles/etc. I personally use the Meta AI occasionally to help create posts for small events that I might be hosting (ones without a budget). I will reach out to someone if I have something big coming up and have some disposable funds to pay someone to create flyers and artwork. I have used it to help me restructure my thoughts into something more coherent at times as well The problem that I have with AI is when we're using it to generate content in such a way that it takes opportunities away from real people. Using AI to create content (music, books, movies, etc) is absolutely harmful in that there are people who are now struggling to find work because people are turning to AI to save $$$. Generative AI has improved to the point where it's sometimes difficult to tell if a song is AI or it's a real person singing. Tl;dr: I don't have a problem when AI is used for certain data entry/retrieval or in a way that doesn't deprive people of jobs. Generative AI is a dumpster fire.
  3. She almost had me for a second with the "What I said in October 2023 is still exactly what I believe: Hamas is a terrorist organization. Palestinians deserve a future that honors their humanity and their aspirations. Protecting innocent life comes first, everywhere, and nobody should ever celebrate the death of a child. Anybody's child." But then she kept on going and twisted Macklemore's words and completely ignored the part where he said that his protest was about what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. His protest had nothing to do with her, her family, or other Jewish people - it was solely directed at Israel for committing genocide. She's still not getting the point here - you can be Jewish and still condemn what's happening. Also, a retweet/repost is essentially an endorsement of what you're sharing and that's something that I thought everyone understood in 2026.
  4. This. It's also sometimes unrealistic to expect people to be able to help with mental health issues 24/7. Yes - it sucks that they couldn't help when you were there for them, but friendships aren't transactional. There have been times when I have had stuff going on and simply didn't have the emotional bandwidth available to help others at the moment. That said, if this is a consistent thing then you should potentially look at finding new friends.
  5. I know that Harry is very successful, but it's wild that these women opened for him.
  6. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised she hasn't gotten it yet. Her videos pre lotus were all pretty good. Dirrty, Candyman, NMT, and Beautiful are all excellent.
  7. Rock God isn't my favorite Katy song from that era - as far as demos and songs written for others are concerned. It's a decent track for selena but it's kinda mid overall. I'd pay good money to hear a finalized Britney version of whiplash though, and Selena definitely missed out by not releasing it as a single.
  8. You're right about it coming out after. My mistake. I did however mention that "flop" was a strong word for the Renaissance movie.
  9. I would pay good money to see him react to hearing these three turds in one sitting for the first time.
  10. Because one of them was sent to radios featuring a self proclaimed Nazi? /s ET's production is very much of its time. Not bad, but definitely not popular right now. i wouldn't call Dark Horse timeless, but the sound appeals to a wider audience.
  11. Yes, but the OP mentioned comments that were made in the year 2007 - 4 years BEFORE the Twitter postโ€ฆ which means that P!nk was not supportive of Britney after those initial comments were made. I do believe that P!nk has since buried the metaphorical hatchet with both Britney and Christina though. OT: I'm genuinely shocked that this is the same person who wrote Dear Mr. President and What About Us. Her music has sucked for a while now but how has she done a total 180 and suddenly decided to support genocide? Glad she's being canceled.
  12. Yes. It was released right before Taylor released the Era's tour video. There was a whole thing about it on here at the time. Although flop is a strong word. It did okay for a concert film but certainly wasn't the top grosser of the year or anything spectacular.
  13. I could maybe see her trying this earlier in her career (apparently she was in a rock band pre-fame) but I honestly don't think she could vocally do it post Confessions tbh. A lot of rock artists tend to have fuller voices and better breath support. I'm not trying to put her down, I just don't think that rock was the right sound for her.
  14. This; and P!nk isn't even a serial assaulter - she's just an awful person who supports the wrong group of people when it comes to genocide. Don't get me wrong, I personally won't be supporting any of her stuff in the future but people not caring about Israel/palestine isn't exactly new.
