  1. … until the lining of my throat has memorized every vein…
  2. … that's kind of the point. The original lyrics were making it out like Angelina won by getting with Brad. At least Jennifer dodged
  3. I think that had been planned but when NMT and Bionic underperformed they pivoted hard to something that had previously worked - a ballad.
  4. The kicker is that Ed's tour is probably going to be canceled altogether after all of his opening acts and his own band dropped out in solidarity.
  5. Hm… what mediocre white men are still somewhat successful? Bieber has semi retired so what's Shawn Mendez up to these days?
  6. Christina - You Lost Me on Bionic when Woohoo was right there. Taylor - YNTCD. Cruel Summer, Cornelia Street, or Lover all would've been better options. Britney - Toxic - not because it's a bad single choice, but because it should've been the lead. Gaga - DWUW… we all know why. Katy - Small Talk stalled any momentum she'd been building from Never Really Over. By the time we got around to Smile it was already doa.
  7. Natalia Kills, Jesy Nelson, Nicki, Ellen, Kathy Griffin (though she's kind of come back thankfully). To a lesser extent Demi (froyogate), Carrie Underwood after performing at Trump's disastrous second inauguration, Katy Perry post Prism (Witness, 143, the space trip, etc), and Gwen Stefani after her marriage to Blake Shelton.
  8. With Stuck With U as the encore where biebs appears on the Jumbotrons from the locker room wearing only his boxers and singing off key; he'll sing the first verse and then walk off screen before the song is even finished.
  9. No, but I do lovingly refer to what's between them as 'home sweet homo'.
  10. Agreed. This might be a controversial opinion, but Ed isn't really who we should be focussing on. He was put in a difficult situation by Kraft and other venues. He had to decide whether or not to cancel those dates and risk people (crew, venue employees, and concert goers) losing money, or drop Macklemore. I think it's shitty that he chose to drop the opener rather than stand up against genocide, but I got the impression that Ed wouldn't have dropped him had there not been any pushback.
  11. If p!nk was still touring, I'd say we should all protest that but… oh well. Guess that's what happens when one of you is a washed up hateful has been - the other one can get this bvssy
  12. Unfortunately you're probably correct. I've never understood how people can just blindly support what's happening. I get how she might side eye him after he wore an allegedly anti-semetic costume, but that has nothing to do with her flat out refusal to acknowledge what's actually happening. Serious question: does Israel really have that much of a chokehold on Jewish people and Hollywood as a whole? (Wasn't sure how to phrase that question so I apologize if my wording is off).
  13. There are a few times that I don't mind it. AI does help with research aggregation specifically for archival and medical. When AI is able to pull and find multiple links between medical research papers it does sometimes help doctors and virologists to make connections faster than before which can help patients. It also helps when doing research in archives for things like schools and historical reports/essays/articles/etc. I personally use the Meta AI occasionally to help create posts for small events that I might be hosting (ones without a budget). I will reach out to someone if I have something big coming up and have some disposable funds to pay someone to create flyers and artwork. I have used it to help me restructure my thoughts into something more coherent at times as well The problem that I have with AI is when we're using it to generate content in such a way that it takes opportunities away from real people. Using AI to create content (music, books, movies, etc) is absolutely harmful in that there are people who are now struggling to find work because people are turning to AI to save $$$. Generative AI has improved to the point where it's sometimes difficult to tell if a song is AI or it's a real person singing. Tl;dr: I don't have a problem when AI is used for certain data entry/retrieval or in a way that doesn't deprive people of jobs. Generative AI is a dumpster fire.
